Erza POV
"No, not there! That sycamore tree was three inches over to the left..." Levy said as our mapmaker/drawer Reedus (Is that right?) drew a tree with eight inches of moss at the bottom next to a stout raspberry bush.
Mmm... raspberries... berries were pretty rare, so each bush had a caretaker. Now that Levy explored a little bit, it was discovered that there were several bushes of berries in the unexplored parts. And that was in less than a quarter! Imagine how many bushes there are in the rest...
My mouth began to saliva at the thought of berries. But most importantly, strawberries. Those were my favorite. Especially on sweets and cakes... Mmm!
Jellal came over as we finished the last few trees, which were oak, sycamore, birch, and willow around a little pond.
"Jellal!" I said as he hugged me.
"Yeah?" He said.
"I want a strawberry on a cheesecake," I said, my eyes gleaming.
"Maybe later..." he said, snuggling into my hair.
I gave him my best puppy dog face. "Pwease????"
I normally would have killed, but this was my mate.
He sighed. "Okay, Okay."
"Yaaaaaay!" I cheered. I kissed him, and he turned around.
"So worth a kiss," I heard him mutter.

Natsu POV
I smelled the wolf on Levy again when I went to check on the map. There are a lot more berry bushes than I thought there were. But that didn't matter. I knew that the she-wolf would be mine. I felt that she was my mate. Her vanilla scent was overpowering and made me want to howl my pleasure to the air.
Inside my cabin, I started to reimagine her scent. Mmmmmm... it was so good.
A knock on my den door. Who would that be?
Lisanna, probably.
When I opened the door, I was surprised to see it was Drake.
Angrily, he said, "Today was my last day as Omega. You should let me free now."
Had it been that long already? I racked my brain.
I decided to ask Erza.
I took a deep breath and howled.
She arrived at my door seconds later.
"What is it Natsu?"
"Has it been four months since this guy's Omega duties? He says it has."
Erza narrowed her eyes. "No. He still has a week left."
I shrugged. "Well, in that case, his Duties will be extended for three weeks longer due to him trying to trick me."
Drake's eyes narrowed. He huffed, and then growled, "Alpha, I challenge you for the position."
Was that a challenge?
I had never lost a battle before, other than to Erza or Mira.
"I accept," I said. "Tomorrow at midday. Go knock and tell the pack."
He growled then backed out and went to tell everyone.
Erza shook her head. "You idiot."
"What?"
"An Omega can't challenge you."
"Who cares? I wanna fight anyway."
"Whatever. Anything else you need?"
"Go with Levy exploring tomorrow."
I could tell she was taken aback.
"O- Okay."
"Goodnight Erza."
"Gnight."

Our announcer, whose name was Maya, started to talk.
"Gather around, gather around. The fight will start soon. Omega Drake Allatat (boos and growls) has challenged our Alpha, Natsu Dragneel (Cheers and yips). According to pack law, an Omega is not allowed to challenge an Alpha for the position. But let's toss that out the window, shall we? Let's fight! Three!
"Two!
"One!
"START!"
I sat down and waited for Drake to make the first move. He narrowed his eyes and lunged. I batted him away with my paw.
Yawning, I decided to lay down. He leapt again and this time I pinned him down.
"Don't disturb me when I am going to sleep, got it?" I growled.
Then I turned to human and punched him.
"Goodnight."
Maya said, "Wow! What a display of strength and confidence! It is obvious our winner is our current Alpha, NAAAATTSSUUU DRAGGNNEEEEL!!! But don't forget our gallant loser, Drake Allatat! Give them a hand!"
Everyone morphed to human if they were a wolf and clapped and cheered.
I lazily took a nap while Drake was being carried to the medicine den.

Time skip
Erza POV
I noticed Levy was trying to leave the camp, so I went over to her.
"Scouting again?"
She turned around. "Erza! O-oh yeah, I'm scouting!"
Then why was she sneaking off?
"Can I join you?"
"A-are you sure? I mean, you could go eat your cake Jellal got you... it's still in the fridge!" She stammered.
"I can eat it later."
"I- ok."
We morphed and padded to the woods. When we were next to a raspberry bush, she said,
"Erza, I am going to trust you with a secret. You cannot tell anyone. (Not that I have any choice) Promise?"
"Sure."
