I hummed softly to myself as I made my rounds. I knew the kid wasn't going to be coming today... Or for the next week... I just pretended that I didn't know...
"Hey, Blue." Dust waved at me, leaning against a building.
"Hello, Dust!" I cheered, my body relaxing itself... He's right... I am relax around him...
"Want to hang out at Waterfall today?" He asked, showing a small bag. "I brought something with me too."
I laughed at him... Truly laughed... Why do I laugh with him... Why can't I pretend with him...
I nodded my head, skipping over to him so we can walk together.
"Have any more nightmares?" He looked down at me, raising an eyebrow.
I gave him a confused look, even though I silently was freaking out! How the hell did he know! I thought I covered it up!
"W-What?" I questioned him, my soul beating like crazy!
"Well, you always look tired even with the way you act... Then there was the time when you were at Waterfall late at night... And when you napping on my lap... You kept saying that you were sorry... Today, you look better... So any more nightmares?"
I blushed at his words... His genuine concern...
I looked at the ground and nodded... I didn't want to talk about them...
"Hey," He stopped us, he holding my chin, making me look at him. "It's alright. They're dreams, they can't hurt you... And if that doesn't make you feel better, before you go to sleep, say the names of the people and monsters you trust... That you know would never even think or dare to hurt you." He told me, smiling down at me calmingly.
I blushed more nodding softly. He was so kind to me...
After that, we continued on our way.
"Do you get nightmares?" I looked up at him as he looked off to the side.
"Yeah... But I learned how to deal with it... Don't worry though," He turned to me, his eyes warm as he patted my head. "I know a few people that won't let me down."
I giggled at him, my soft smile returning... I always smile when he's near... I really do smile when he's near...
We found a calming spot in the Waterfall's garden. It was nice... The Echo flowers repeating what we were saying.
Dust pulled out two slices of strawberry-chocolate cake, my favorite kind... Then were two slices of blueberry pie with two forks.
"You planned this?" I smiled to him.
"Seems to me you don't eat enough... So yeah..." He looked away, a blush adorning his handsome face.
I giggled softly, taking one fork. He smiled at the that, handing me one slice of each.
I ate them happily as we had some talk in between. It was a good day...
"Here!" I chirped, picking up a some Echo flowers and quickly weaving them into a crown. "I want you to have them!" I smiled as I placed the lovely flowers on top of his head.
His purple blush deepened as he stared up at them.
I giggled, blushing lightly myself. I smiled at him with ease, he smiling down at me... He was the person that I will call out to...
