DEDICATION
I'd like to dedicate this to dancewriter03 because she has showed so much support for this story so far! She was my second fan, and she's voted/commented on all five of my previous chapters. Round of applause for her, woo hoo!

Mr. Evers was giving me form after form this early Tuesday morning, the first day of school. Chase went to school yesterday to help the freshmen get used to the school, since he’s in Student Council. Funny, because I never thought he’d be in that. He’s the president of the senior class! A whole month of living with him and I would’ve never guessed he’d be into anything that didn’t have a vagina, or anything football related. Since that is all he seems to really care about.
My folder was now stuffed with information about the class, syllabuses, contracts, scholarship information, and even a letter about graduation requirements. The year just started, are we really going to worry about graduation already?
“Chanler, did you hear that?” Mr. Evers asked me. Mr. Evers was an old white teacher, no racist remark intended. It’s just that most of the teachers here are usually Asian, or have some kind of Asian in them. He was probably around 60, mostly bald, and wrinkled in the face. However, he was so laid back, I felt kind of bad when he was taking roll and no one was paying attention to him. I looked up at him and nodded, smiling as I took the papers from his hands.
“Remember the motto, AVID binder, everyday,” he said pointing up at the poster he had above the white board. I nodded again, and turned to go back to my desk in the back before Chase got in my way.
“Move,” I snapped at him.
“Ah ah ah,” he taunted while wagging his finger at me. “I don’t think that’s how you speak to your president,” he said with a smirk on his face.
“Sorry, shall I curtsy for thy royalty?” I asked sarcastically.
“You shall, and make me a sandwich while you’re at it babe,” he said before he started talking to the teacher about something I couldn’t care less about. I sat down behind Todd, who was next to Zachary. Who sat in front of Chase. Who was one seat away from Noah. So I was between the two of them. I’d never get a break from him! I have PE with the twins, Sharice, Zac, Todd, and Noah. AVID with these turds. English with all of them again, minus the twins, and Psychology with Sharice, Todd, and Noah. There were only four classes a day, so that was good. I’d stick to these classes this semester, and then after Christmas one or two or three of my classes were going to switch so I can get all my credits on time.
“Why don’t you join student council with your brother?” Todd asked as he turned around to face me. Noah glanced at me from the corner of his eye, before quickly looking back at his paper, concentrating on whatever it was he was filling out.
“First of all, he’s not my brother,” I began.
“Yet,” the three of them finished off, making me sigh in irritation.
“It’s too much responsibility. I have cheer,” I said, pointing at my duffel bag sitting on the ground next to me.
“So? Chase does council, and football, and track, and wrestling, and Leo club, and I think that’s it,” he said, counting off his fingers while saying all the activities Mr. Macho-man was involved in.
“Good for him, then he won’t be home most of the time,” I said.
“Actually, since cheer and football practice overlap, you’ll still be stuck with him after school for a good three hours,” he retorted.
