"E?" HE called "coming!" I called back. I was happy,he was happy-we were happy.
We lived in a small house,just got our own place,just recently married.I was the newst Mrs.Horan and i was loving it.
We met a few years ago,1896-it was oh so sunny and warm-when we first saw each other it was like love at first sight,which i never believed until i met him.
He was sitting on our porch,newspaper in his hands and lucky,our dog, laying next to him.
"you called?" "look at this article in the newspaper,it says we could live forever,wouldnt that be nice? to live together for eternity?" he said looking at his newspaper,stealing quick glances at me.
"That would be nice,but how?" i asked sitting down next to him,rubbing lucky's belly.
"it doesnt say,just that we must go to this address.Would you like to live forever Elisa?"He asked me ,looking into my green/brown orbes and i his.
"with you? yes" i said "would you like to go see this place?" "we can leave first thing tomorrow" i said kissing him on the cheek and getting up,walking back into the house.
~next day~
"Do you have the food,blankets and money?" Niall asked me. "yes,all is in the carriage already Niall don't worry" i gave him a reasurring smile. "Okay,lets go?" "yes"
We got into the carriage,ready for what we were about to witness.
When we arrived at the so called address,we were surprised to see a old,worn-out warehouse."are you sure we are in the right place?" "this is what the article said E,maybe lets go inside" "Okay"
We walked in,hearing strange sounds,creaks and bangs. "N-Niall I-I dont think w-we s-should be h-here" I said,gribbing his arm tighter. "Shh E its okay"
"No Its really not,you should listen to your wife Niall,she is quiet right" someone said from behind us.
We turned around to see a middle-aged man starring at us.He had a walking stick to help his walking,wore dark,black sunglasses,wore black clothing and was as skinny as a twig.
"I'm sorry sir,we will leave right away" Niall said backing towards the exit with me behind his protective arm.
"Im afriad you cant do that son,you read the article,you came so i give it to you." the man said
"give what to us?" I asked
"well what you came here for of course" the man laughed "im going to make you immortal,To live foreverr" the man shouted laughing.
"can you really do that sir?" Niall asked
"of course i can son,for my name isnt Jefferson"
"is it?" i asked "yes!" he shouted
"oh"
"Both of you need to drink this tonight before you sleep,it will work while you sleep,then the next morning you both will be immortal,live forever" the man said walking closer towards us. "I give this to you,but beware use it with a wise mind and dont use it just because you want to be together forever,because anything can happen to the one and the other will be alone forever"the man said holdng out two small glass bottles.
"Yes sir,thank you sir"Niall said taking the bottles and gribbing my hand tighter as if saying 'its time to go'
"well we best be off now sir,thank you once again"Niall said retracking his steps towards thye door.
"yes goodbye children,and goodluck"the man said then disapeared into the darkness.
We ran back towards the carriage,climbing in and racing back to our little cottage.Darkness spreading quickly over the little village of Mullingar,Ireland.
we arrived and ran into the house.Pushing off our boots and scrafes and blankets,wasteing no time to go to sleep.
"Niall should we do this? i mean what if he was right and something does happen to the one of us?" I asked looking at the small bottle. "dont think about it E just drink it,it willl be fine"
"Okay,on three?" "On three" he said
"One"
"two"
"three"we both said ,drinking the small bottles of disguting liquid.
"eww,that is mostly gastly" i said climbing into bed. "well what did you expect? berries?" Niall laughed at me.He put his arms around in the bed and hummbed me to a deep dark sleep.
~next morning~
I awoke to my eyes burning,sun ,thats what is burning me. I opened my eyes to see the sun beaming through the room. I hopped up quickly and ran to the blinds and shut them.Joh that was a close one....Wait it toke me one second to run across the room...thats not possible,is it?
"Niall?Niall wake up" I said ,shaking him a little..."Niall?" i asked taking his hair out of his eyes,why wont he wake up? he is not a deep sleeper..**"I give this to you,but beware use it with a wise mind and dont use it just because you want to be together forever,because anything can happen to the one and the other will be alone forever"** the mans words ran through my ears.
"No Niall,Niall please wake up....not you no not now please Niall..Please" i said crying on his chest.
"Niall pleasee"
He wasnt waking up,he was gone,he left me, left this world,left everything all because we wanted to live forever now im alone...forever.
I was alone,he was gone, we were ....over.
And since that day i have been alone,gone,isolated,hiding in the shadows until my immortal life is over..which isnt anytime soon.
