Slowly falling in love

"What? You didn't sign up for that audition?" I instantly sat down. I took a pillow and put it on my lap.

"Yeah, but i signed up for another audition by JYP Entertainment. They're hiring singers too. You know that i love to sing too right?" He replied and i sighed.

"What wrong?" He asked as he thought that i sounded upset. It's true that he loved to sing. He truly was a talented person. He can act and sing. Plus, he did well in both.

"No...it's just... i thought that i have you with me when i go to the audition" I said and clearly i was upset. "Aww you miss me already huh?" He asked teasingly. "Yeah" I answered as i got carried away by the situation.

"What?" He asked. I frowned my brows and face palmed myself.

"What?" I asked him back and he chuckled.

I could feel he was smiling over the phone and i couldn't help but to smile back even though he couldn't see it. Clearly, i slowly fell in love with him. Yeah, it took some time for this feelings to come out.

"When are you coming back here? I'm bored" I said, changing the topic.

"Hmm" He paused. "The day after tomorrow i guess" He continued.

"Okay, i'll be waiting" I said and i instantly covered my mouth and widened my eyes. "Ugh, Eun Ji please control your mouth" I said to myself slowly but it was audible to him. He laughed and i smiled.

"Okay then, wait for me" He answered. "I'll stay here and wait for you, Jack" I smiled so hard and closed my eyes. I didn't believe i just said that. "Stop it Eun Ji" I slowly frowned my brows and sat straight back as i was surprised.

'Is he mad?' I thought. "Wha...what did i do?" I stuttered. "Stop being so cute on the phone. You make me wanna go to you right now and hug you so tight that you'll crush like a tomato"

I burst into laughter. "Jackson stop it" I said and i bit my lower lips. "And now, what did i do?" he asked and i felt that he was smiling so hard over the phone.

"Hey pizza, i know you have cheese in it but can you try not to be cheesy?" I said and he instantly laughed. "Ugh i wanna go back home to you right now!" He whined and i chuckled.

Silence got into us as we didn't have any topic to talk about. I could hear his breathing over the phone and it was enough to make my heart thumped so fast. I heard he took a deep breath as if he wanted to say something.

I gulped as i was so nervous thinking about any possible things that he wanted to say to me but that was not the only thing that i was afraid about. The other one was how and what do i have to reply back if he said those 3 words. Yes, those little 3 words, you know what i mean.

"Eun Ji-ah" He called my name in a serious voice. I sat straight back and went silent as i waited for him to continue with his words. Beads of sweats formed on my forehead. I clenched my fist as i tried to hold back my nervousness.

"I love you"

I stretched myself on the bed and grunted. "Ugh, i don't want to get out of bed" I said to myself. "Eun Ji hurry up!" Mom shouted from downstairs. I sat down and tied up my hair. "Okay mom!" I replied and went straight to the bathroom. I wore whatever that i grabbed from my closet. Clearly, i was too lazy to dress up.

"Which one?" Mom asked me as she lifted two dresses. I squinted my eye, staring at those dresses. "Hmm i think this one suits you more" I pointed at the sleeveless long black dress. She smiled. "Right? I think so too" She said as she put the dress in front of her body and looked into the mirror.

I smiled as i looked at how happy mom was. She had a date with one of her friends back in the old days. I was okay with her having a date. Plus, i don't mind having a new family member.

She was as beautiful as always and still looked young at her age. Sometimes people were confused with our relationship. They thought that mom was my sister.

Mom went to the counter to pay for the dress and i was looking through the dresses. I took a long dark blue dress and put it in front of my body as i looked into the mirror.

"This one's beautiful" I said but i put it back after i looked at the price. "What the-" I didn't finish my words as i felt someone wrapped his arms around my waist. I stood frozen still.

"I can buy that dress for you to wear in our wedding though" I instantly break free and turned back. "Jack!" I hugged him tightly and he hugged me back. Didn't know i would be so happy to see him though.

"Oh hey Jackson. You made it here" Mom came back to see us hugging. We broke the hugged and i was blushing and looked down.

"It's okay honey. I've been there before" She smiled sweetly at the both of us. "Mom!" I said and they chuckled. "I got to go. See you" Mom hugged me and Jackson before she walked away.

He smiled and turned to face me but i was already glaring at him with my arms crossed. His smile slowly faded away. I didn't say a word and suddenly walked out of the store. He quickly walked up to me until we reached at the park.

"Eun Ji what's wrong?" He asked as we sat on the bench. I didn't looked at him. He came near me but i move aside and that continues until i didn't have the space to move so i stood up and ready to sit on the ground. He grabbed my wrist and stood up.

"Okay, okay. Did i do something wrong?" He asked. 'Ugh finally he's asking'

"Why did you lie about coming back here tomorrow?" I asked and looked at him.

"Well, i just wanted to surprise you. Is that wrong?"

"Yes and yet you came to the boutique too without me knowing"

"Why? You didn't want me to come back here earlier?"

"No it's just...it's just"

"It's just what, Eun Ji?"

I took a deep breath "I would have dressed up a little prettier if i knew you'll be here" I said quickly and let out a breath.

I looked down at my clothes and sighed. He laughed softly as he came near me. I couldn't look at his face. He held my hand and pushed up my chin with his free hand for us to make eye contact.

"You're the most beautiful person i've ever met and did i mention how perfect you are in my eyes?"

Little did they knew, someone's watching.
