Chapter 19

|| Sabrina's POV ||

While Wendy and Connor went up stairs to "film his video" the rest of us sat there dumbfounded on what to do .

"I want to get out of this house!" Sam complained.

"Oh stop complaining." I said to him, slapping his arm

He looked up at me with giant puppy dog eyes.

"Owie, that hurt." He said to me in a baby voice.

"You're so weird." I said standing up

I have to be honest though, those eyes made me melt inside.

"I want to go penny boarding." I said walking in front of everyone.

"Then go." Calyssa said, without looking up from her phone.

"Ha Ha, very funny. But I don't have a board." I said

"I bet Kian would let you borrow his." Jc said, looking over Rylee's shoulder at something she was doing on her phone.

"What? Oh, ya sure, he's just upstairs in my room." Kian said, looking through the fridge with Hunter.

"Thank you!" I shout at him and start to walk up the stairs but get cut off.

"I'll come with you!" Sam shouted, jumping up from his seat and dragging me upstairs

The both of us walk into Kian's room and find Ghost, his penny, right in the open.

"Wait, so what are you guys going to do now?" He asked me

"I honestly don't know, we are all done with school now, that whole trip was kinda the last day of school. The girls and I have actually all had kinda a stupid dream about moving here one day, and now I guess maybe we can actually do it!" I said walking out of Kian's room.

"Oh that's cool! If you guys end up moving down here we are going to have to hang out a lot, you know that right?" He asked me.

"You guys really want to hang out with us again?" I asked him, the surprise visible in my voice.

"Well ya! I mean, you guys have become like our new best friends!" He said nudging me a little bit.

"Right, okay then." I said

"See you guys later!" Sam yelled as we walked out the front door.

The second we make it outside of the house, I skate off, making Sam eat my dust. After he finally catches up to me, I give him a few moments to catch his breath.

"You...Are really....good." He said to me catching his breath

"Come on Sam, you have diabetes not asthma." I said to him, right after wards I realized what I just did.

"Wait, how did you know I have diabetes?" He asked me

"K-Kian told us." I said as normally as possible.

"Oh, okay!" He said smiling.

"So you have obviously done this before." He said to me, pushing off of his board.

"Oh ya, I take Thomas everywhere I go!" I said, catching up to him.

"Thomas? I-Is that your boyfriend?"

"What? Oh no, Thomas is my penny board back home! I don't have a boyfriend."

When I said that it seemed like he relaxed a lot. We continued to ride down the streets of California, when some random gust of air blew through the air.

"Shit, hold on Sabrina, my hat flew into the road." I heard Sam yell from behind me.

"Here, I'll get it!" I said to him.

Checking to make sure that the roads were clear I ran out into the street. I grabed the run away hat and began running back to Sam.

Sam's smile changed

His face showed fear

A lot of fear

His mouth opened

Almost as to scream

But

I didn't hear anything

Instead

I saw lights

I felt pain

and then

I only saw darkness.
