"'Sabel, I can't believe it! Did you hear what happened to Onna!" Netanya exclaimed, jumping up and down as she ran after her much taller friend.
"Mmmm..." Isabel replied, distracted. "Are you going to chase Lynn today?"
"Minion. Not Lynn. There are other people here." Netanya replied. "And, yes. Benrie should be out soon."
"Mrrw!" Ely added some commentary that only Netanya and Benrie could understand.
"Mrrw!" Netanya chirped.
"Say what...." Isabel muttered, "Muw?" she tried. It always came out differently from the Trio's.
"No, no, no!" Netanya cried, exasperated, "Wrong, all wrong!"
"Sowwy..." Isabel said sheepishly.
"Anyway, Benrie's out!" Nut exclaimed before running towards to the spiral staircase that most P6s used. Ely and Benrie ran off too while Isabel trailed behind them, shaking her head and rolling her eyes. She never understood their obsession with that senior.
"'Sabel!" Eleanor moaned between breaths. "Hurry up! Walk so slow for what?"
Isabel also never understood how they could run so fast with heavy bags for so long despite their size. Just as Nut reached the stairs, she saw Lynn. "Hi! Hi! Hi! Mrrw!" she greeted excitedly.
"Hey," Lynn mumbled, walking down the stairs so fast that Netanya and Eleanor had to run as fast as they could after her. Or fly, perhaps, as they often joked. Nut's shoulders slumped as all the excitement left her. "What happened?" she asked quietly. Nut and Ely and Benrie had quickly learnt that Lynn walked especially fast when she was in a bad mood and she was often in a bad mood because the other P6s weren't nice, calling her a goodie-two-shoes. Benrie, Nut and Ely felt a little bit sorry for her. Lynn was a prefect after all, a head-comm too, she had to follow the rules, if not she would be stripped of her tie.
Nut took out her phone to check her messages as she ran down the stairs in other to keep up with Lynn. "Hey! Only a while more till you reach the canteen!" Lynn chided, peering over her shoulder. "Ooh, nice wallpaper! It's a quote from Keepers of the Lost Cities, isn't it? Anyway, don't do that again!" Netanya laughed but put away her phone. She turned around to look at the older girl, only to realise that Minion was crying, "What happened? Who did this... I'll... I'll hit then!" Nut said as gently as she could, trying to control her anger. Lynn turned away and didn't say anything. She didn't even comment about how violent Nut was being. For Netanya to hit someone was bad, she rarely resolved to physical stuff, and with her bones and all, it could be quite painful.
"Lynn, you can tell us if something is up, you know." Ely said.
"No, it's okay, it's just.." Lynn replied between muffled sobs.
"Lynn, what is going on with you? I'm serious." Benrie said sternly, and she was rarely serious.
The trio and Isabel looked at Lynn, demanding an answer. If somebody was bullying Lynn, they would do anything to stop them. Just anything.
"I-I've been scolded by Mr Fan." Lynn confessed.
Ely gasped in shock.
"Was it bad, getting scolded by Fanfferfish?" Benrie asked, trying to cheer things up.
"Yes! He called my parents!!!" Lynn cried, as more tears rolled down her cheeks.
This was bad. Lynn was usually the good girl in class, for Mr Fan to call her parents, she must have messed up somehow. It could not have been her fault, could it?
Benrie looked at Nut, at a loss for words.
"Help!" Benrie mouthed, so Netanya tried.
"Was it really you?" Nut asked gently, not wanting to hurt her.
"I've been sabotaged!" Lynn eventually revealed.
"I knew it." Benrie said to herself.
This was it. This was the only explanation. Whoever it was, Ely, Nut, and Benrie were going to take them down. They would never get away with hurting their friend.
"But by whom, may I ask?" Isabel spoke up, after being silent for a while.
Lynn told them. It was expected. Faith Teo and Rebecca Wong, along with Caila Loh.
They too, were like the Benriesan Socialis of the P6s, however the P5 group would never accept them. Never. They were always playing pranks on people, not the funny ones that the cheeky eleven-year olds did, but ones that would hurt people,  and scar one's self-esteem. Like what they were doing to Lynn.
According to Lynn, the words "Fanfferfish is a Doofus" were scribbled on the teacher's table. Mr Fan saw and asked who it was. Faith Teo had raised up her hand to say that it the Minion, then it was confirmed by the other two. Mr Phan believed them and so he scolded Lynn and called her parents, when it was not really her. He really believed it was the normally good girl when the Head Prefect chimed in her agreements. Lynn even added that Rebecca herself had been writing the words before their combined 6PQR class.
Suddenly, Benrie felt a pang of guilt. All that she was hearing was like the seemingly funny thing that they did. No matter how much she hated that girl who always exposed her very best pranks, as Ana knew it was almost always Benrie, she knew that she could not do this to her. No, it was plain wrong. Benrie knew she had to own up tomorrow. She had hurt Ana the same way Amber, Faith Sng and Rachel had hurt Faith.
"We will get back at her." Ely spat.
              "No it's okay..." Lynn said
"No, it's not, and you know it." Nut said firmly.
Lynn nodded her head and said something about having to go home and face her parents, then she sped away.

"We shall play a prank!" Ely announced, sounding proud of herself, "to get back at the three idiots who did this to Lynn."
"We shall hurt them the same way!" Isabel said, as if she was a patriotic Singaporean reciting the pledge.
"No, I do not think we-" Benrie tried to say, but nobody heard her as Isabel and Ely, were discussing plans for their next prank, now named "Operation Revenge".
"I do not think-" Netanya cut in but Ely and Isabel were already to deep in conversation to take note of Benrie or Nut.
Benrie did not want to take part in that so she turned around and walked away.
Netanya bit her lip and turned away quickly. A thought just hit her. Did the people she played pranks on feel the same as Lynn?
