"Welcome to the Depression Service Centre! We are open 26 hours a day, 69 hours a week!" Vera, who was behind Pheebs' desk said in a depressing voice.
Benrie needed help. And the Depression Service Centre was the perfect place to get it.
"I need to make people temporarily depressed... wait, is that even possible?"
"Sure," Vera replied in a depressing voice. "Who do you need to make depressed?" she asked in again ----- well, you get the idea.
She passed Benrie a piece of paper.
Step 1:
Ask whoever you need to be depressed to act in a commercial. This will work even better if the person/people have fat egos.
Step 2:
Bring them to the Depression Service Centre as we need fame-hungry people to make a low-budget commercial.

Step 3:
That's all! When you want them to be un-depressed, just tell us and we will make them un-depressed for you!

Woah. The Depression Service Centre was good. Benrie made a mental note to visit it the next time she needed revenge.

"Thank you for coming. Remember, we are open 26 hours a day, 69 hours a week!" Pheebs had joined and was being creepy by saying it from behind Benrie.

Benrie left the centre not depressed at all.

In reality:
Vera: Who to frame?
Hen: Idk. It can't be me or you.
Vera: If we frame Nut, you know what might happen.
Hen: And we can't frame Ely either since she was asked to do it.
Vera: I have an idea. Let's use this as an opportunity to test our newest member.
She slipped Benrie the paper.

The first conversation had been pre-recorded and played while they were talking to disguise what they were actually saying but the paper was real. Both issues discussed were essential to their plan but they could not make it obvious what was happening.

"Wait," Hen had realised something. "The message said 'without the help of your friends'. If Caila finds out, we're dead meat!"

"Look again at the message." Henrietta looked again. "The phrasing makes it have two meanings. It could mean that Eleanor has to frame someone without the help of us, which is what we are doing. But it could also mean the person we are framing cannot commit the 'crime' without us, which we can afford to do." Vera reasoned. is 'something she did not do without the help of your friends!" Vera exclaimed.
"Woah." Hen mouthed, looking very happy indeed.
"So, Ely frames Brea. Tell her no offense but she had to do so. Anyway, what's your task, Hen??"

Nut sat in her room, constructed a message to Lynn. She had to do this.
Lynn, she typed, I need to tell you something. Okay, Rebecca needs me to do this but I don't want to hurt you so just roll along with it. Delete this message when you are done reading it. I'm so sorry, Lynn. After sending the message, Nut deleted it.
You are damned piece of shit named Lynn Tan Kai En and I don't even know why I even wanted to be your friend in the first place. Rebecca is a much better friend and you are little shitty piece of junk! I don't care what you say but I have plenty of dirt to dig up about you so if you want me to keep quiet, I'll need a little favor, not like I expect anything from a backstabber. After all, I value loyalty over any other quality and YOU are NOT loyal at all! Anyway, as I was saying, though your brain probably doesn't remember, I need you to tell me 5 of your worst fears/darkest secrets. Just do it or I have plenty of shit to dig up about you. Just so you know, I'm not your damned friend anymore. Rebecca, Caila and Faith are SO much better.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? YOU ARE THE BLOODY BETRAYER! HOW DARE YOU SELL ME OVER!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? I CAN'T BELIEVE I EVER BEFRIENDED AND TRUSTED YOU!!! NO WAY I'M TELLING YOU THOSE THINGS!!!
Oh, let's have a little fun with a game known as Dig Up Lynn's Dirt then!
Oh fine... I thought you my friend, though, Netanya...
Hurry up!
Hang on...
1. I'm really afraid of... Rebecca and her friends...
2. I got into a physical fight with an older RGPS girl previously...
3. I am afraid of losing my friends...
4. I am afraid of betrayal...
5. I am afraid of losing my tie...
HAPPY?
Okay.
Nut threw down her phone, and groaned inwardly. She felt like a betrayer, she felt like she had failed Lynn. She sought her deepest and darkest fears. Lynn had no privacy anymore. Nut felt like she was intruding into Lynn's life.
"You have to do this, Nut. It's going to be alright. Lynn will be okay." Nut assured herself. She decided she needed some rest so she slept. She would probably have to email Lynn tomorrow. "Would Lynn forgive me?" she asked herself as she cried herself to sleep, bitter, regretful tears streaking her cheeks.
Her second rule had always been to never betray her friends, her personal rule that she lived by... and she just betrayed Lynn. Rebecca would see the messages and it would all be over. She had broken her rule... there was no turning back anymore.

Hen screamed, louder and louder, until her voice was hoarse. Her task, seemed like the worst one ever. She wanted to die, just to forget everything. This was horrible. She could not shucking do it, she just could not.
Her task was to break away from all of her friends, and join the older trio's 'Junior Prankers' which sucked a lot. She also had to tell them that she was breaking away from them publicly, and if Rebecca found out Hen had told the others beforehand there would be dire consequences.
As warm tears trickled down her tanned cheeks uncontrollably, Hen knew she had to come up with a plan. Her friends could act well, and they could keep secrets. If only she could tell them that she was 'breaking away' from them beforehand, that would be great. She could tell Vera. She understood these kind of stuff, being a 'founder'.
Faith Teo had seen her as the leader of her group, which was true, and had decided to 'promote' her. She was so stuck. "Stupid 5R!! STUPID DIVIDE AND CONQUER!!!" Hen screamed. They trio had to prove their worth by themselves, all alone. Were they stretching Lynn's friendship a little too far? Nut's task was horrible, sure, providing Rebecca with all the information, but hers was worse. She was not only betraying, but leaving the whole Socialis. She had to be strong though, she couldn't cry when she broke away from them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Later that day, Lynn sent a mass email to the Socialis.
'I thought you were my friends. I thought you were my second family. I thought our friendship wouldn't end like my other. I thought that you actually cared the slightest bit about me. You blackmailed me, you threatened me. I don't think I know you anymore.
Did you change or did your mask just fall off?
Best friend
Eternal friendship
Thick and thin
Remember those times
Always with you
You are loved
Everlasting love
Don't leave me
There is no denying that you betrayed me but if you are happy, I'm happy for you. I hope you find what you want in Rebecca and her friends.'
That was it, no 'your friend, Lynn', no 'yours faithfully, Lynn'. Nothing else. Had the Socialis tested Lynn's friendship one too many times? If only she knew that they were trying to do this for her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Lynn," Henrietta whispered hoarsely as she read the email. The first sentence alone was enough to make her cry. Already, a week had passed and they hadn't done much to help her. They had been too occupied with their tasks and homework to start hacking the system. Lynn would be back in school tomorrow. She wasn't expelled... yet. Hen also had another task to worry about. Other than publicly breaking away from her friends, she had to sabotage the whole group. Rebecca and her friends had been throwing more and more tasks at them.
Recently, Eleanor told Henrietta that Caila wanted her to steal from the bookshop. Netanya had also called to say that Rebecca wanted her to 'prove that you are better than Lynn. Win an argument against her'.
Not just that but apparently other Socialis members were getting tasks too. Vera had to get Onna suspended by herself. Isabel needed to get to know Lynn better before publicly revealing her true intentions to her.
If Hen, Ely and Nut succeeded in completing their tasks, they would be 'promoted to our level, kiddos'. They were still doing this for Lynn... right? They weren't so sure anymore. They were being forced to commit darked deeds to win the older trio's trust. They had quite forgotten about Lynn, caught up in their assignments.
Now, Lynn declared their friendship over. Who would be there to support her when she faced the music the next day? They wanted to support her but Lynn would probably be too hurt... too broken.
