I groaned in pain as a loud bang brought me out of my sleep. My back was still hurting, and the cold hard floor was doing nothing to lessen it.

The bars to my cell were swung open before a tray of food was slid my way. As per usual, my meals would contain a loaf of expired bread, a half-empty glass of water, and meat that was barely cooked.

I crawled towards the tray as the bars were swung close, another loud bang echoed, making me jolt. I ate the bread, my mind not registering whether I ate the molds or not, but I devoured the whole loaf nonetheless. I then proceeded to eat the meat, the metallic taste of blood still fresh.

I don't know how long I've been down here. I barely see the sun anymore, or had seen a clock or any device that can tell time. For months, I've been rotting away in this hell hole, chains made out of quirk suppressing materials made sure I'm powerless enough to save myself.

"They're here alright!" A guard cheered. "They caught them all as easily as luring a fly towards a light bulb!"

My ears strained to listen to the voices as my consciousness began to slip away.

"The Class 1-A from UA? No way! I guess their fancy tech really did the work, eh?" Another voice spoke. My mind was a scrambling mess now.

Class 1-A? UA? Oh no.

"It sure did," the voice from before replied. "They're hauling them in right now as we speak."

Shit.

"Ohh, master got some new set of toys to play with aside from this bitch eh?"

I tried to sit myself up, but my body was not responding. What did they put in my food?

"Well, let's just get her in there with them. The drug should be in effect by now."

I struggled against the heaviness of my body. A muffled sound entered my ears and I felt something grab me. I felt the cuffs on my ankles being removed, and the moment I felt myself being dragged out of the cell, I roughly freed my right arm and used my elbow to hit one of the guards in the face. A string of curse words left his mouth. As the other man was caught off-guard, I used the moment to free myself from him, driving my knee to his groin. He crumbled down in pain as I willed my legs to carry me out of here.

But before I can go anywhere, I felt a surged of pain enter my body as I fell to the floor, twitching in pain as electricity flowed through my body, just before the man who I elbowed in the face swung a bat to my head.

Fuck.
