Atreus PoV:

I glanced at my Father worriedly as the figures kept running deeper into the forest before disappearing behind some thick trees. I looked up at my Father with questioning eyes before he grunted like usual and just simply kept walking, I jogged after him asking why we weren't helping the poor thing running away, all he said was  "We dont know who they are boy keep to the people you trust."
All I wanted was to help them, I knew Mother would've, and sometimes his dissmisive answers really made me mad, I huffed in annoyance but kept walking behind him. There was nothing I could do without Father anyway, I think I'm ready although he keeps denying it, but I have no idea what those figures were and their motives, I guess I really am useless without my Father.

After continuing down our path for a few silent minutes a wave of static electricity passed through the air and a loud grumble of thunder coated the sky. My Father halted and stood protectively in front of me, as we looked up into the clouds a single tendril of lightning lurched from the gathering clouds striking the ground where the two figures had previously been hiding in the forest. Fathers muscles tensed as he mumbled, what I assumed a name, under his breath. I don't know what happened but by the look on Fathers face, I have every doubt its something good.
