To My Parents

I'm sorry,

For not being your perfect child,

For never wanting to change,

For being selfish,

I wish I could change the times,

To be better and nicer,

To be more perfect,

To be less selfish,

I need to change myself,

To be someone of your image,

To be selfless,

To be perfection,

You adopted me,

And I was never grateful,

Of the things you got me,

Of the hugs and kisses,

Of the notes you left to make me not worry,

As the years went by,

All I could say is, 'I hate you',

All I could do was fight with you,

All I could want, now, is for help,

I pity myself,

For the ways I treat you,

For the ways I argue,

For the ways I yell back,

And for that,

I am sorry,
