Realism,

Nor is it optimism,
It is in between,
It's looking at the good and the bad moments,
While seeing the in between,
It's seeing the trueness in the people around you,
While looking at the trueness in yourself,
It's realizing the sky will not fall,
And there will be no hellfire beneath your feet,
It's knowing that everyone has faults,
It's about taking courage and not being petty with it,
Realism is a character trait you must work for,
You don't just get it with the snap of your fingers,
Realism is joining hands together,
And seeing the potential in people,
Realism is NOT pessimism or optimism,
But it is feeling better in the darkness.
