I wandered into play rehearsal and waved to Christine. She gave me a bubbly smile before looking back up at Jeremy.
His squip does realize that she's head over heels for him right? My squip said sarcastically.
Jake waved at me with a cheeky grin and gestured for me to sit next to him. I walked over with a small smile and sat down next to him. He put a muscular arm around me and smiled.
"Hey babe" he smiled with perfect teeth.
You look hot. My squip instructed me to say.
"You look hot." I repeated, internally cringing at myself. He didn't seem to mind and just smiled before running a hand through his gelled up blonde hair. He ruffled the red tips of Rich's hair and gave him an 'I told you so' look.
I looked at my script and read along during rehearsal like a drone.

I walked out of rehearsal and heard sneakers squeaking behind me. A hand landed on my shoulder and I looked up to see Jake.

"Do you wanna come over to my place tonight? We'll get all sporty and play cricket, or get a forty and just kick it! My parents won't be home so it's alright. They laundered money now they're on the run."
I popped a bubble of bubblegum before realizing what he'd just said, which made my eyes go wide.
"Jake, that's illegal." I said matter-of-factly. He returned with an awkward smile.
"Which means the house is empty so that's fun!" (A/n: lord help this boy)
"Never hung with a girl like you before! I don't know if you know it but I am sure that for me you are an upgrade!"
"Upgrade?"
"Upgrade! Let's be each others upgrade!"
"Oh wow!"

I blushed and smiled shyly. "Well I am flattered, this is new, still I'm not sure what I should do."
"You gotta take the upgrade!"
I grabbed Jakes hand, which was huge compared to mine and followed him to his car. My squip smirked at the pink blush dusting my cheeks.
