I turned around and saw it was Rich! I blushed a little and for a moment regretted my choice of wearing Jakes varsity jacket.
Don't think like that, Jake's your boyfriend now.
"What's with the jacket?" Rich asked, his voice had a little bit of hurt in it.
"Me and y/n are dating now!" Jake said with a grin, putting his arm around me. I smiled up at him.
"O-oh" said Rich, his face scrunched up for a second, making all his freckles blend together, before he realized what face he was making and contorted it into a smile. "Well that's cool I guess..." he trailed off at the end of his sentence.
Jake interrupted, probably trying to break the awkward tension going on. "So you guys coming to my Halloween party?" He asked excitedly.
"Hell Yeah!" I said in unison with Rich, I guess our squips were in sync.
Time skip to lunch
I sat down next to Veronica, as usual. Luckily my squip let me stay friends with them. We had to let Michael Mell sit with us on account of Jeremy kinda being a shady bitch to him. Christine didn't seem to notice the change in Jeremy and blamed it on him and Brooke dating.
"So you guys gonna go to Jakes party?" I asked while I bit into the sandwich I halfheartedly made as a snack at 3 am, but I ended up falling asleep before I could eat it.
"Sure!" Christine said. She loved costumes so I wasn't too surprised.
"Not invited" Michael said, and I made a mental note to get him an invite.
"Maybe." Was all Veronica said. She was never big on parties, but when she did party, she claimed to have 'big fun'
