⚔️Thirteen (Dream Landscape)

†Before we begin I would like to explain to you what Dream Landscape is. Dream Landscape is almost like Sleep Paralysis, well in my book. This chapter, Theo and Amber will locked in Dream Landscape. For reasons I cannot tell you yet.†

Jack was drifting in and out of sleep, I think the pain came back. I could feel my own eyes drooping a little, but I can't sleep now. What if Seth comes in and finds Jack here? Or Dominic or Damian? Whoever they are. Jack began stirring in my arms again. I stroked his hair softly and held him close to my chest.

“Shh, shh.” I stroked his face slowly and drew a line where the scar was. I chanted something to take the pain away, well I was hoping it'll take the pain away.

“Ambi?” Jack asked sleepily.

“Yeah?”

“Sleep.” He pulled the sheets over himself and also me. “You need it.”

I rolled my eyes at him. “Fine.” I said, sleep already taking over. I closed my eyes and slowly began to drift into sleep.

I was floating around in the air. I couldn't feel my arms or legs, and I couldn't move. Suddenly, I fell. I kept on falling until I hit the ground. The landing was not painful at all, but I knew if it wasn't for the Landscape, I'd be dead. I was at a camp site, it looked so peaceful here.

I heard shouting in the distance, and I don't know why but I ran in that direction. It was not so hard to track whatever screamed down because it left a trail if freshly spilled blood. I ran until I could spot whatever it was. It was a huge demon with Jett black fur and it was dragging someone behind it. I gasped as I saw who it was, Theo. Brutally injured too. He waved at me and beckoned me to walk over to him. I rolled my eyes and I ran over to him.

“I'm glad I could reach you.” He smiled at me as I walked next to them. In the Dream Landscape, the physical things can't see the spiritual forces.

“What happened to you?” I asked as he rubbed his eye.

“Well, Big Guy over here found me before I found him and we fought. I cut his eyes out but ah demons, they'll forever be the same. And he pretty much beat the light out of me.” Theo chuckled at his own dumb joke.

“Something tells me you didn't even know this was a demon.” I rose my brow at him.

“That something was right.” He innocently smiled. I almost lost all my anger towards him.

“Why did you stab Jack?” I asked before I could stop myself. Theo's smile dropped and he sighed.

“I'll explain everything, just send help. You're waking up and we don't have long, just send he....”

I jumped up from the bed. He needs help. Even if he stabbed Jack, I can't loose my mentor. Jack sat upright and eyed me.

“What's wrong?” He asked as he cupped my face.

“It's Theo.” I breathed out. “He needs help... Urgently.”
