Jack's P•O•V

Amber laid my head softly on the pillow, she had tears in her eyes. I wish I could take all her pain away like she took my pain away. It wasn't fair that she could heal my wound but I couldn't heal hers. I held her hand tightly and swallowed dryly.

“Don't leave me please.” I whispered to her. Amber nodded as she kicked off her shoes and slept next to me.

“Don't worry, I won't leave.” She kissed my cheek softly before closing her beautiful green eyes. If only I had the strength back then to not have walked away.

I feel guilty about leaving her. It might have been three years ago but the guilt still was gnawing at my insides. I brushed my fingers through her hair as she played with one of the buttons on my shirt.

“Jack?” Amber asked.

“Yeah?” She sat upright and looked at me with one the biggest smiles I've ever seen.

“How's the wound?” She asked as she turned my face slowly to inspect the wound. She smiled again. “Scars gone, so how's the pain?”

“I got no pain.” I kissed her lightly on the lips. “All thanks to you.”

“I'm glad I could help.” Amber said as twirled her hair. I kissed her again.

“I missed you so much these three years Amber.” She stared into my eyes, her green eyes were like jewels to me. She is just so gorgeous.

“I did too, so did Michaelangelo and Donatello.” I nearly laughed at her remark. Mikey and Don missing me? The world really does change people.

“So they did change after all.” I whispered to her. She giggled and shook her head.

“You were gone for three years, obviously your brothers will miss you.” She protested, shaking her head.

“Normal brothers who have no life, yeah. But stupid brothers with stupidity as their career, nope, don't think so.” I chuckled. She shook her head at me.

“That's not very nice Jack” Amber said as she kissed me. It felt so amazing. She entwined her fingers with my hair. I pulled her closer to me and planted little kisses on her neck.

“I love you Amber.” I breathed out.

“I love you more.”
