Rohan x Fem! Reader ~ the remedy for a broken heart (why am i so in love)

"J-Josuke..." The girl said quietly as she sobbed into her friends chest. He held her close. If that asshole Josuke wanted to break her heart, Rohan was determined to break his face.

He closed his eyes, and breathed in deeply, taking the sweet smell of the the girl he held close. "Josuke is an asshole... I don't know why you like him..." The mangaka said, as his fingers found their way through your tangled hair.

"He isn't an asshole! He's sweet, and cute, and funny... oh god..." She sobbed again. "I don't know why you don't like him! He tried to be friends with you before hasn't he?"

"He caused my house to burn down!" The green haired male yelled, as he let go of the female in his arms. "He's a prick, he destroyed my studio one day, and on top of that, he kicked my ass! I was only trying to draw my manga as well, and he runs in here and just... just... ruins everything! How am I supposed to like someone after all that? He's god damn lucky you like him... I'd kill for a girl like you to fall for me..."

The girl blinked. "He wouldn't just do it to be an asshole. You must have instigated him. Insulted his hair maybe? And if I'm not mistaken, you both were playing some game when your house burnt do-"

"He cheated! I-I'm still not sure how but he did."

"You know what Rohan? I just realized how shitty of a person you are..." The girl sighed, more tears streaking her face. "I'm going home..."

"W-Wait!"

"Goodbye, Kishibe Rohan."

The male sighed, as the door slammed shut. "Son of a bitch..." A tear escaped his eye, as he blinked rapidly. "Why am I like this?"

He sat on the floor next to his landline, and dialed up Koichi.
"Hello, Hirose residence"

"Koichi... It's me. I uh... I need some help."

"I came over as fast as I could, whats up Rohan-sensei?" The silver haired boy asked in a warm tone.

"I... I think theres something wrong with me. I get so... I don't know... I get weird around (Y/N)... Like she came over today, and I just couldn't control what I said. She was upset over Josuke, and I just... Couldn't stop. I wanted her to talk about me the way she talked about him. I mean, what does he have that I don't?  I have money, I can... I can buy her things. I just... I think... I don't know what I think..."

Koichi smiled. "I think I know." The boy crouched down beside him.

"(Y/N)-san, would you like to hang out today, or something, I don't know." Koichi asked the girl. "Wouldn't Yukako get angry?" She asked, not wanting to ruin their relationship.

"Nah, plus we're just hanging out as friends. She knows that." The girl nodded. "Okay, sure... I need to get my mind off of Josuke..." Koichi nodded, and patted her back. "Yeah..."

The green haired male nervously rubbed his hands together. 'She's totally gonna get pissed... This is a bad idea... But... Kishibe Rohan won't back down from a challenge.' He thought to himself.

"Koichi... Where are we going?" The girl said in an accusatory tone. "C'mon, this way." He said, as he pointed to a large tree that the mangaka had been standing near.

Rohan's heart began beating out of his chest. 'I don't understand this feeling... why am I like this? Is... Is this love? God... why... why am I so in love?' He asked himself.

"Rohan?" The girl said, in a sad tone. "Y-Yeah... I uh... I want to apologize. I didn't take your feelings into consideration and that was selfish of me..." He looked down at Koichi who gave him a thumbs up. "Wow... I never thought I'd see the day Kishibe Rohan would apologize."

"I-I'm not done. There's something I
wanted to tell you... And I already know how youre going to react so this makes it much much worse." The girl raised an eyebrow. "I... I've fallen for you... (Y/N)... And I know you don't feel the same, but I thought you should know."

The girl smiled. "Well... Since Josuke is... since he... I guess I could try... falling for you... as well."
