Hey Paddies. I hope you're having a nice weekend so far.

Arash POV

Slowly, I woke up and touched beside me just to feel my mate. I could not feel him beside me and I knew he was awake and probably in the bathroom. I checked the time on the nightstand watch and it was 6 o'clock in the morning. Getting up, I made my way to the bathroom to release my bladder and Ion was not in the bathroom either. I concluded that he might be downstairs eating so I put on sweats to join him and keep him company. It was too early for anybody else to up except for maybe the Elves who apparently barely sleep.

The Castle was quiet signaling that many people were still asleep. I came to the kitchen and I did not see him. That is when I started to get a little panicky. I decided to check the roof because somehow the Elves were fascinated with the view from the roof. I made it up there and he was not there either. Knowing that I had to calm myself down without causing unnecessary panic, I used all my senses and I couldn't feel him.....Dammit it! Did I sleep through my mate getting kidnapped in my own bed? How? How fucked up is that?

Quickly, I made my way back downstairs and the only person I could imagine asking for help was Ryndel. I went outside his room and banged on the door. It took a while for him to open the door.

"I can't find Ion neither can I sense him in the house!" I could not hide the dread out of my shaky voice.

"He's your mate so just open your senses. He's probably eating in the kitchen or is up on the roof." He did not seem like he was taking the situation serious.

"I just told you I can't sense him in the house and I have checked all of his favorite spots in the house and still can't find him. Can't you use some Elves mojo to find him for me?" I sure hope he was not taking the urgency in my voice for granted. Our conversation woke the twins up and they opened their door to investigate the situation.

"What's going on? It's too early for this commotion." Astalda said.

"He can't find Ion and need some Elven mojo to find him." Ryndel answered. The way he said it made me sound stupid for not knowing the whereabouts of my mate. The three brothers laughed at my misery.

"I wouldn't have come to you for help if I knew you wouldn't take this serious. You know what? I'll wake your father up and ask him for help." I turned around to go and the brothers immediately stopped laughing.

"You're serious about this" Salta stated. "I mean if you're willing to wake my father then it means you're serious." Astalda added.

"You think I'll make a joke about something as serious as not knowing where Ion is in this dangerous time we live in?" They looked amongst each other. They all closed their eyes simultaneously. Trying to sense Ion in the castle, I assumed.

"I can't sense him here!" Ryndel was the one who opened his eyes first.

"We can't either." The twins said. They looked at me crazy so I knew an explaination was due.

"We went to bed together and I don't recall him waking up. I didn't see anything and I didn't feel anything." I told them.
