Happy Valentine's day Paddies!

Arash's POV

I watched with dread as everyone left the room one by one. For the first time in a very long time I was scared of my own parents. Can I lie to them or did they get the clue? As soon as the door closed my mother slapped me hard across the face. She was extremely mad and I don't think I have seen her like that before. My father had to pull her back from me. What was I to do? She's my mother and I would never hit her back. I was just wondering why the slap though.

"What were you thinking? Do you have a death wish? I have noticed for the past years that you don't care much about life. Were you thinking about us when you did it, huh?" My mum was angry and pacing in front of me.

"Mum...."

"No Arash! Don't mum me. Thranduil can have your head for this. You impregnate his son before the ceremony? What were you thinking? This could've started a war. And you didn't think it was important to tell us about this important fact?" To be frank I was expecting this kind of behavior from my dad not my mum.

"Mum I'm really sorry. Everything happened so fast. I'm so sorry" My mum just wiped her tears and composed herself.

"Do you have any idea how long it took me to get pregnant with you? Are you aware how much herbs and shit I had to drink to be able to conceive?" Oh my goodness! Did my mum just swear? This is way serious than I thought!

"Next time you think about going on a suicide mission think about your family!" With that parting shot my mother left the room. My dad was too calm for my liking.

"Your Mother is really upset." He sighed and walked to the book shelve. "She has not really gotten over losing your older brothers. She had two miscarriages before having you. She was in a dark place during that time and I nearly lost my mate." I heard the thick and raw emotion in my father's voice. "It took us such a long time to conceive you. You pulled her out of the darkness when you were born." He pulled one book out of the Shelve and a small table was pulled up. On the small table were two glasses and a bottle of scotch. He poured himself a drink and one for me. "I promised your mother that I will stop so you better not tell her about this!" He warned me before handing me my drink.

"She's right you know. Thranduil could have had your heard for this. You should have talked to us. We could have helped you."

"I'm wondering why you are taking this calmly" I asked.

"Because I have known for years about his secret visits of the prince to you as a child. You just wouldn't shut up about Lion."

"What? Why didn't you tell me about it?" Now it was my turn to be angry.

"We didn't take it serious when you started talking about him, the boy with the sunshine hair." My dad laughed with a faraway look on his face. "It's not like what you said was understandable anyway. We thought he was your imaginary friend like most children have. That was until I watched you and saw the boy with sunshine hair walked out of a fucking hole in your wall. I thought maybe the Witches sent him. He just played with you whiles speaking Sindarin. He then sung to you till you slept then he will left the same way he came. This went on for a while."
