I carried Merida to Toothless and climed on him. Toothless flew through the forest to our hiding spot by the sea. I wondered if Merida had figured out who I was or not. I hoped she had. I felt guilty I hadn't come to see her for so long but I was busy cleaning up the village. It was a wreck and took months to clean everything up. We even had to rebuild some of the houses. Not to mention all of the wounded dragons.
Toothless landed and I got off, setting Merida down on a fur sleeping bag type thing. I walked over to the water and sat down. Toothless sat next to me. I looked up at him, "Do you think she'll forgive me for not coming for so long?" Toothless looked between her and me then at the ground. He paws at the ground with his claws, glancing at me once or twice. "I'll take that as a no." I sighed.
Toothless looked at me with an annoyed expression. "What?" I looked at him confused. Toothless pushed me into the water with his nose. "Hey!" I said a little loud forgetting Merida was there. Toothless jumped into the water with me making a huge splash. I laughed and splashed him back.
Me and Toothless played for a few minutes then I heard Merida's voice. "H-Hiccup?" She sat up and rubbed her head. I looked over at her. My eyes widened. Merida looked so diffrent from the last time I saw her. Her red hair was pulled back into a thick braid that looked like it would come loose any second. Her hair went down just above her calf now. The last time I saw her it was just at her waist. She wore a corseted medieval v-neck long sleeved styled evergreen dress. The corset was brown and the top part of the sleeves was white fabric that draped down to her thighs. She also wore a neckless with bears on it.
"Wow..." I breathed. Merida slowly walked closer to me. I got out of the water and stood infront of her. "Sorry if I scared you back there I-" I was cut off by her kissing me. I thought she was going to punch me in the arm or something but she didn't.
Merida pulled away and looked at me. "Have you come to rescue me?" She laughed a little.
