Chapter 5- Merida's POV

Hiccup laughed a little at my comment. "Why are you here, Hiccup?" I frowned. Hiccup's smile faded a well, "I came to see you..." He said. I rolled my eyes, "I knew that, silly. I mean, why would you risk coming here? My dad has threatened you multiple times...I don't want to know what he would do if he saw you." I looked at him with sad eyes. Hiccup put a hand on my cheek, "It'll be fine Merida. I won't go anywhere near the castle." He told me.

I thought about it for a second then nodded, "Okay. But no going near the castle. I don't want to risk losing you again."

Hiccup smiled at me,"You won't." His smile faded, "But I can't live here forever."

I nodded and frowned, "I know. But-" I noticed the sun was rising. "I have to go." I said running towards Angus who was standing by a tree. I mounted him and looked at Hiccup. He had a sad look in his eyes which made me want to stay but if they noticed I was missing they would send guards out here to look for me. Then they would find Hiccup and Toothless.

I pulled on the reins and Angus ran off into the woods.
