Game Day

Time Skip *** Friday

You went to school with Chelse like you always do except you two were both completely freaking out over your basketball game. Chelse couldn't get out of her presentation so she wasn't going to be able to play for the first half.

"This game is gonna be complete shit without you" you say.

"Well, I'm gonna be there for the second half so if we're losing, we probably won't be for very much longer....also, why do you have such little confidence in the team?" She asks.

You don't say anything back. You guys sit in silence for a little bit until Chelse changes the subject.

"Are you and Jonah getting ready for the costume contest next Friday?"

"Oh yeah" you say. "We're actually working really hard on it...Zac has been coming over too and has helped us as well."

"Oooo" Chelse says loudly. "What's with this 'Zach' now?"

You hit her shoulder and say, "we're just friends. We like the same things so we hang out and talk about them. He doesn't like me like that".

"But do you like him like that?" She asks.

You sit thinking. Do you like him like that? You knew for sure that you liked Jonah like that...but you've never really thought about Zach.

As you guys pulled into school, you saw Zach sitting outside with Daniel and Gabbie. You and Chelse got out and you brought her over there to introduce them to each other.

"Oh, I already know Chelse" Daniel says bashfully. He puts his hand behind his head and Chelse looks away awkwardly.

Zach greets you in and hug and Gabbie  waves a little and smiles. You introduced them to Chelse and then you all went inside.

You decided to sit with Zach today. You went over to his table to find him sitting with about half of the people who were at Jonah's party the other night. This included Jack, Daniel, Corbyn and Jonah. But...it also included Victoria.

You sit down and start making conversation with the boys. Vic takes Jonah's face in her hands and kisses him aggressively. You cringe a little and so do the boys.

"Babe babe" he says trying to pull away.

"What?" She says impatiently. She turns her glance and glares at you.

"Are you okay" he asked.

"No Jonah! Im not okay!" She almost yelled. "I have a big basketball game today and we're gonna loose because of Y/n's dumb friend!"

"Hey! Chelse isn't dumb" said Daniel defensively before you could.

"She just has a lot on her plate right now" You say. "But, I'm sure we would play better if you all came to support us". You put your hand on Zach's shoulder and immediately, he said, "we'll all be there for sure Y/n".

Time Skip***game time

You put  on your team pinny, spandex shorts, your basketball sneakers and tie your hair up into a tight ponytail. You take a few bobby pins and pin down the hair that's hanging out in the back. You fill up your water bottle and run out of the locker room with your teammates and onto the court.

You look around. As your coaches are instructing you to warmup you see Zach in the stands. You decide to sneak off over to him.

"Hey" You say. Zach smiles at you and walks down the bleachers.

"You here alone?" You ask.
