RILEY'S P.O.V

There is always first time of everything, like this afternoon, of me picking up the twins from school.

"Daddy! Daddy come!" Cassandra was the fastest to sprint into my hug.

"Yes honey, of course." I kneeled and kissed her cheek. "How was today?"

"Today was about Snow." Calista, my rather calm daughter, walked slowly into my arms but hugged just as tight.

"And shoe lace is fine too, so it was good." Cassandra pointed to her perfectly tied shoes that Connor did this morning.

Other parents who were still waiting for their kids overheard this weird conversation and threw smile at us. Well, it was not the first time. I often caught people smiling at how random and unrelated the twins were everytime they tried to tell me a story.

I stood up and nodded smiling  to everyone in the room, because apparently the epic entrance of the girls has made us the center of attention. We were now ready to leave the spotlight before Cassandra could start another speech or chase Calista around.

"Bye bye!" Cassandra waved to a silhouette from the corner of the hall.

"Uh-hmm." Calista waved excitedly but did not say anything because Cassandra did it already.

I tried to catch the face of this silhouette but she stood against the light. I guess I nodded a little, and passed it.

I brought the twins up to the car, set them safe and tight in the car seats, then ready to bounce to the supermarket. Toby said I needed to do groceries by myself. So I meant to take the challenges down all at once. Well, this time I was still with the twins, but this was a major progress.

"So..." I lifted the girls to sit on the grocery stroller. "Tell me about school. I heard you mentioned about Snow?"

"Yes." Calista raised a finger. "We drew her."

"You drew Snow? Wow. You too, Cas?" I replied.

"Of course. It was fun. We got to tell everyone about Snow too." Cassandra nodded at her sister. "So everyone knows Snow now."

"They do? That's amazing." I kept the conversation going, only to keep the girls occupied and felt present while I was busy grabbing stuff from the racks. "What did you draw? Snow and her fluffy face?"

"No, Snow with daddy." Calista pointed randomly at the ice cream rack. "When daddy gives Snow food."

"And she fell asleep." Cassandra added again.

I chuckled. "You drew Snow and me? So everyone knows me too now?"

"Yes of course, why not." The twin one answered happily.

The conversation was lasted for some good minutes as I finished picking up supplies of the month. Between the talks, they asked for ice cream so I eventually gave in. We ended up having a shared triple chocolate ice cream to go, because I knew the princesses would need to have afternoon nap. The girls were excitedly spooning the ice cream, leaving all the mess in the car seats that I would not need to explain.

"Nooooo..." Cassandra suddenly started to scream.

"What happened back there, honey?" I checked from the rearview mirror.
