A raven haired boy's body convulsed and something heavy departed from everywhere. His mouth, nose, ears, skin and even his captivatingly stunning doe eyes. The sinister article left him drained, isolated and wrecked, leaving a trail of gloom and depression behind.
A trail which would never go.
Lips trembling, Jungkook didn't know if what just happened was real or a dreadful nightmare. Then again, his whole life has been compilations of the worst fears known to mankind. But never in his life has he loved someone so strongly, so this shouldn't have happened.
Staring into the space Mina's scent was still lingering in, Jungkook found difficulty in breathing. His throat was blocked with shattered pieces of an empty heart.
Folds of darkness dissipated from every nook and corner of his penthouse as a blue glow calmed the fucked up scene down, ended his happiness and threw a curtain down on his stage.
Just then, his feet broke his thoughts as they were already breezing into the en-suite bathroom before he regurgitated his insides out. Vomiting all over the basin, it was his stomach acids mixed with red.
Jungkook was spewing out blood and wheezed hoarsely before his face turned puffy.
Wiping his mouth with a sleeve, the once handsome boy dared to glance up into the mirror.
He saw a smooth face worth destroying, round eyes begging to be gouged out and pink lips asking to be torn off. His eyes were crinkling with distress as he turned the tap on full blast and cupped shaking palms before splashing the liquid everywhere. Rubbing all over his face until the skin was raw and dry.
Taking time to breathe through the coldness, it finally dawned upon him like the rising sun. Hearing Mina's screams of begging for mercy resounded in his eardrums, played on his senses and struck his internal chords.
And that's when it hit him.
She's gone.
"No..." he spluttered before his legs gave way and he tumbled to the bathroom floor. Covering his eyes, tears were already sliding down his cheeks.
He knew no one was to blame but himself.
But it isn't fair that someone who cleaned year's worth of dust off his heart should just leave like this, it isn't fair that Jeon Jungkook is so lonely again. It isn't fair that he's so weak. It isn't fair that he couldn't even stop himself from destroying the love of his life.
It isn't fair they should end like this. It isn't fair they should even end at all.
Jungkook had sworn on creation that no matter what, he'd protect Mina. No matter what, he'd love her purely and no matter what, he'd never hurt her.
But in an instant, all promises were broken.
And it's the worst feeling because he can't blame anyone, he can only hate himself. But he doesn't want to kill himself just in case Mina returns, just in case he fights for her and gets her. But hope is the thing Mina gave to him so without her, it's impossible to even move.
Rubbing his eyes, memories and uncontrollable flashbacks soared through his mind.
From the very first moment he saw Kim Mina, the spark she emitted and the glow which surrounded her made him feel lighter than ever before. He was an empty shell of devastation and she taught him how to love selflessly.
He still remembers her shocked expression when his driver nearly hit her and she turned around, her stunning locks flying slow motion behind her. The boy recalls their first hostile encounter, their first kiss and the hatred slowly transforming into a cute love. He recollects how he booked out the best restaurants for her and took her shopping when all she wanted to do was lie underneath the starry sky and count how many sparkles there were. All she wanted to do was be around Jungkook because she loved him for who he was. She forgave his past and instead focused on building their future.
