A starry night

I am tired of this place, I hope people change
I need time to replace what I gave away

And my hopes, they are high, I must keep     them small.
Though I try to resist I still want it all.

"Jin hyung you came," Namjoon groaned whilst trying to sit up on the hospital bed. Midday sunshine was brightly radiating off the remaining patients sharing the hospital ward, but the Jeon guard wouldn't be able to get up anytime soon.

Whilst he may have escaped with his life, partial paralysis of his spinal cord during the intense torture session will leave him reliant on crutches forever.

The older placed a lunch tray down and gently brushed Namjoon's shoulders back on the plush pillows so he wouldn't hurt himself. Doing his best to contain the pain controlled only by high dosages of medication, Namjoon clenched his eyes and bit down on his bottom lip.

Seokjin was watching him with watery eyes. Sniffing, "Hurry up and have your lunch before it gets cold."

"Urgh, I'm tired of this food. It's so bland and the kimchi is really sour, goodness knows how long it's been suffering in freezers for," the younger whined as he opened his eyes fully, devouring this moment with his hyung that he thought would never happen again.

"They wouldn't let me prepare your food; you know I would've fed you a feast," Seokjin scowled at the nearby nurses, "when I come back, the food better be gone, okay?"

Lowering his gaze, Namjoon pressed his lips in a thin line.

"When can we go home hyung?"

Seokjin gulped.

Looking up before out of the window, he tried to conceal the influx of conflicting emotions crawling up his throat. The young man lying down is a criminal, one of the highest ones - yet the older wants nothing more than to lift a wing out and shelter him with warmth, protect him at all costs and never let him fall in a ditch of loneliness again.

And that's just what he'll do.

He's never letting Namjoon go.

"Soon Joonie, soon. I promise we'll go home and be happy like the old days. I'll check on Jimin," he looked up and smiled before proceeding to the nearby bed where a smiley boy was busy preparing an iced tea concoction.

Jimin noticed Seokjin first and sat up, hiding his weakness although his complexion was very pale. Although his back was turned, Hoseok realised a presence and instantly got up to greet the police chief.

"Hyung! Would you like some tea too?"

Shaking his head, "No thanks Hobi. Ya, look at you! As pale as a ghost!" And he forced the black haired boy to sit down beside Jimin whilst pouring them both a glass.

"As long as Jimin is okay, I don't care about myself," Hoseok whispered as Jimin was fiddling with his recliner remote, looking like a lost puppy against the huge hospital bed. His hair was freshly washed courtesy of his lover and fell in moist locks of blonde.

The police chief darted a furious look, "If you let yourself fall ill, Jimin will feel worse. All this would be for nothing."

Gulping, Hoseok quickly took Seokjin aside, "Forget us, when are you taking evidence against Jungkook? Jimin isn't fit to testify just yet-"

"I'm not."

"What?!"

"Shh, not so loud. There's no more Jeon Empire left to destroy and besides, Mina already hates me. This is the least I can do for her," he replied quickly, trying to avoid further questioning. But Hoseok was shocked, borderline lethal as he dragged Seokjin outside the ward.
