Kimberleys POV:
i've not slept at all. With the workload i had to have completed by this morning i've not had the chance to try. The only good thing was i was now done and could go home which was a big relief! I'd text Cheryl to let her know i was coming home and she said she'd pick me up from the airport. I sat on the plane in my trackies and a baggy jumper not caring how i may have looked without make-up on and having had no sleep.
Cheryls POV:
Bricking it? Biggest understatement of the century! I know i've got myself into a bug mess by keeping secrets especially away from Kimberley, but i knew she would just think im crazy. She's stil convinced im not over all the drama thats gone on in my life but that was how she was. That was my Kimberley. When she phoned yesterday i could've told her everything! I could've come clean about everything but i didn't. It could have been over...well maybe not over but she couldn't scream or slap me over the phone.
I wait nervously at the doors of the exit of the airport so she could get in quickly without the paps. Looking at my knuckles that were now turning white due to the grip i had on the steering wheel i noticed i had my wedding ring on. Even though it should never be done i took it off and put it in my pocket just in time before i hear the paps starting shouting.

"Hey babe!" She reaches over hugging me when she gets in the car.
"Its good to have you home!" It wasn't a lie i had really missed her, but god i was so scared!
"Aww did our Chez miss mewhilst i was away?" She smirks putting on her seatbelt on. I set off home after i set the sat nav up.
"Course i did i hate being away from yous. How was it then? New york."
"Honestly it was amazing, im so glad i did it, im so glad you made me do it." She laughs.
"Well i just want the best for you, you deserve it after you know, justin and that."
"Yeah i suppose, but i'm over it now. I'm too drained to think about the what ifs."
"Im glad to hear it you deserve better."
"So Jean then? How is he is he treating you like a princess?"
"Yeah he's so good to me." I reply and decide to test the waters i was sure i'd end up drowning in. "I think he's the one."
"Chez? You've known the guy for what?"
"7 months."
"Yeah 7 months, but only started dating him when?"
"About 4 and a half months."
"So surely you can't know that yet?"
"What you trying to say Kim?"
"Nothing you know i don't care as long as your happy and 110% sure."
"Good, i know hat i'm doing Kim i am over all the stuff thats happened and i'm extremely happy."
"Good then i am happy. Hows the girls been?" I still wasn't sure what her reaction would be when i finally tell her. Plucking up the courage was harder than i thought.
i'd been over the situation numberous times but it was different right in the moment.
"Chez? The girls?"
"Oh yeah there great. Nads is in London!"
"Aww yay!! I've got to see her! You alright?" She says studying me. She'd done it a few times as i hadn't made much eye contact with her.
"I'm fine."
The rest of the drive was filled with normal chit chat and by the time i'd reached Kimberleys i still hadn't told her.
"Its still as empty as when i left." She says softly.
"How'd you mean?" I say confused as to what she was getting at.
"I'm used to it being filled with Justin and his mates and his dog and now...now its just me."
"You'll find someone Kim and it will be filled with love and Kids and pets and everything you've ever wanted. I promise you."
She looks at me and smiles and for the one of the first times i look into her eyes and hold her gaze.
"I love you Cheryl Ann Tweedy. You are the only best mate i've ever had."
"I love you too Kimberley Jane Walsh." I say trying to copy her happyness but the fact she was using the wrong name and didn't even know it pushed me too just get it out there.
"Right i'm going to catch up on a bit of sleep and call you girls over tonight?"
"Y-Yeah thats a plan."
"OKay well thanks for being up at the crack of dawn to fetch me i appreciate it. Love you and leave you." She smiles kissing my cheek and opening her passenger door.
"Kim" I grab her arm and pull her slightly back into her seat showing her i wanted her to stay.
"Yeah?"
"I-I- *sigh* It doesn't matter. I'll see you tonight?"
She looks at me weird but finally nods her head.
"Yeah, see you later."
And with a finally wave she entered her house and i was left in the same massive hole i had and still was digging deeper and deeper. I pulled the ring out my pocket and looked at it sliding it back onto my finger.
"Later i promise." I whisper and i knew then i couldn't let this go any further. I needed it out.
