Darkness quickly fell upon the clan that was once ruled by Crusher, Baldur now leading them began to walk to another location that would soon be the next new camp. Devastate followed behind of course, he looked around taking notice of individuals who were noticeably fearful of the new leader.
His wounds from the battle he wore like trophies, he wasn't concerned about treating his wounds. Baldur stopped and looked to those who had followed him. "Listen up, there will be changes to how things will be run."
Devastate lifted his massive cranium as he looked at Baldur, the sounds of the night quickly rolling in.
"Those who can't keep up will be replaced.", smirked Baldur. "I don't know what your last leader had planned, but it would be wise to forget it! I am the new leader and I will not tolerate weaklings."
Devastate didn't know what to think, this change was something he wanted so why was he feeling the way that he was. He felt like he made the wrong call.
"Hunting is a must, everyone must hunt! Everyone must fight! Those who refuse to fight will be disposed of!"
The numbers that follow Baldur were some what declining, there was none that ate vegetation for they all fled. It was a good bet that those who are fearful may flee as well or else be killed. From the way Baldur spoke, he wanted his clan to prosper in a different way. No weakness, only those that live off of conflict. Sawtooth much to the surprise of Devastate supported Baldur. Kissing up was another thing since the spinosaurus was definitely buttering up the new leader.
Devastate looked back on occasion as if expecting to see Scarface, he still had the thought that he was dead. Not looking for him, there was a good bet that he was dead. The regret slowly swallowed up the brute, his comrade was left to die and he was to blame. He would have to live with it.
Baldur smirked as he looked at Sawtooth who gave a twisted grin, "Also, females won't be off limits."
Devastate looked bothered by that, he still believed that females were trouble. That or his heart remained for his mate, even if she was dead he still was faithful to her.
"Have any questions?", asked Baldur who smirked.
No one said a word, the stillness in the dark air was thick. Of course, none dared to speak up due to their fear. There was a good guarantee that if any spoke up against Baldur he may just punish them, that or kill them.
"Good. Let's get our camp together and bring forth a new era!", cackled Baldur as he turned and began to walk.
Devastate could only follow, much like the others who were terrified. The new clan had large carnivores, and that was all. Baldur only accepted the strong and the massive, this new direction for the clan was going to be a force unlike any other. But that was it, Baldur was not like Crusher. Baldur was going to shape this clan up to be terrifying. There would be no respect just intimidation and fear.
The night brought movement from deep within the forestry, the sounds of the blind made the night come alive. Scarface looked around with watchful eyes, his wound still slowed him down but he pushed on. Gambit followed close behind with Swiftscale behind him. The three brutes were making their way forward and away from the clan that was once their safe haven.
No one would be safe with that clan, not with that rogue leading. Scarface didn't know where to go but anywhere was better than being close to the clan.
The three of them were on their own, the hope was high that they would survive and live to see another day. By following what Crusher believed, then the future would be bright for all of them. Scarface could not rest, only cause the blind never rested. He was wounded and he had to be on guard. The blind would easily end his life if he wasn't careful.
