It was hard to start up a clan, but with enough trust and communication it was possible. Those who have conscious minds know the risk of being alone. Some beings like to be alone, while others have become fearful of facing the blind beast alone.
New territories brought new fears.
The valley that Bloodmaw has decided to make their home knew the risk of new dangers. You can't simply be scared all the time, cause then you couldn't get anywhere. You had to take the risk.
Morning has come like it always does, the dawn giving the clan the signal to start their chores. Grim snorted loudly as he walked off toward the forest, Scarface was right behind him. Ebony looked at Swiftscale with a smile as she walked after the two brutes.
Swiftscale had to admit, her smile made the morning seem brighter. He really wanted to give her time, after all she lost her mate. The baryoynx watched her go before looking at the youngsters who were more than excited to start fishing.
Helm stood beside Dingo, both brutes were talking to each other.
"Here's to a good fishing.", laughed Swiftscale. He was glad that they all wanted to give fish meat a try.
Harmony smiled after her mate who walked far behind Grim, she was hoping that he would get along with the others.
Bloodmaw would remain in camp, he was going to check if the camp had weaknesses or not.
Gambit walked toward the forest, his main concern was to find herbs. The raptor may as well take the herbalist rank, after all his eyes and sense of smell could find herbs like nobodies business.
Swiftscale walked toward the stream and waterfall, he pretty much was leading a small group. The youngsters actively ran ahead of them, they were very eager to fish.
Helm and Dingo were pretty much the guards, just in case something were to happen.
The sounds of the stream were a pleasant sound, it was peaceful to hear the water. "Okay you two be patient and let the fish come to you.", spoke Swiftscale looking at the youngsters.
"Right.", toughly nodded Jr.
Lesion looked at his brother in disbelief, and it was probably cause his brother didn't seem all that playful anymore. The offspring would go through changes, it was just something to expect. Their nature would change to as they grew up. Adulthood was one of the biggest obstacles in the world. It was hard to become a adult especially in this world of survival.
Harmony looked at the water, she looked at the two youngsters with a smile. She couldn't help but watch Lesion and Jr as they ran together. No doubt she was picturing that her children would of been like them if they had lived.
Swiftscale looked after the youngsters as he approached the side of the stream. Helm and Dingo walked around with their eyes focused for any type of movement.
The morning was proving to be a relaxing one, the sound of the bubbling stream and the distant roaring of the waterfall. It was a little to good to be true.
Jr looked at the water, his posture was still as he saw fish pass by. The youngster snapped real fast and looked up with a fish in his mouth. Swiftscale smiled, "Good job!"
Lesion looked at Jr and then at the water in a huff, he clearly was jealous of his brother.
Harmony was calm, this allowed her to capture fish in a steady flow. Swiftscale would grab two fish at a time with his claws. The food that they had lost was going to be doubled easily thanks to teamwork.
