Devastate was without words, the pain from his missing arm became dull. Though, the pain was subsiding the anger within his soul came alive in his fury.
Baldur was a being without morals for he showed nothing for anyone. He was actually worse than the blind, the meaning of monster was really what he was.
Baldur smirked looking at Crusher's skull, it was like he had no shame. "I think the skull would fit you."
Devastate had to control himself or else risk his very life. If he were to lash out, he would most surely die and leave Belle alone. The commitment he made to her was something he was going to keep.
The roaring from the waterfall was much like his soul roaring out in rage.
"I suppose it will.", he spoke coldly as Baldur approached him.
Baldur smirked looking behind him, Sawtooth walked in with his twisted grin on his face.
"Heh, I hope you like it.", Baldur said this as he tore the skull apart in two and place the top half of the skull on Devastate's massive cranium.
Baldur laughed as he took the lower jaw of the skull and placed it on Devastate's lower jaw, the skull was painted in a crimson color to signify the loyalty to Baldur and his clan.
Devastate felt a sickening feeling in the center of his gut, the feeling of Crusher's skull on him made his entire being itch.
Sawtooth snickered as he spoke, "I got tired of Crusher and to see his skull on him makes me glad."
Baldur smirked walking by Devastate, "Crusher was not even that tough."
Devastate turned around slowly, he listened to their words. He didn't want to do anything to anyone, but that was inevitable. Belle was his top and only priority
The feeling that he had for Belle, was the only importance that he cared about. He accepted that he couldn't save anyone else, only Belle could be saved by him.
The behemoth was going to do something very different, he was going to be worse than Baldur. The only way you can defeat a monster is to be a much stronger and sinister monster than the previous one.
Belle had spoke of never seeing him as anything else but her hero, her savior. He wondered if that would change, would she view him differently if he became this so called monster.
He had the title of second of command and with it the power as well. He may as well stop pretending and accept this new found direction.
When the time comes he would fight Baldur and kill him.
Devastate walked out from Baldur's cave, his gaze shifted to everyone in the clan that followed Baldur. The skull he wore would no doubt catch many eyes, those who looked up to Crusher would surely look at him in pure hatred.
That was okay, he would accept such eyes. He was not perfect, nor was he good or bad. Devastate was nothing far of a monster to some while to one he is her savior.
Baldur was talking to Sawtooth behind his back, he looked back at them as they talked.
The talk he had heard mentioned from others was now coming to light.
"I know of another clan close by, I say we give them a visit.", smirked Baldur.
Sawtooth looked at him like that was the best idea he had ever heard, "Sure, and we can take some hostages?"
This clan would go from one to another, and raid each and every clan until they had complete control of everything. These hostages they speak of were the evidence of forcefully making them do their bidding.
