I walked back over to the bench and sat next to Harry. “How did it go?” He asked.

“He’s coming to see me. He didn’t want to break up over the phone.”

“Maybe this will be better.”

“Come push me on the swing!” I said standing up and holding out my hand.

“What?” Harry asked thrown off.

“I want you to push me on the swing.” I grabbed his hand and we made our way over to Zayn and Liam.

It started to get dark and we were all tired and knew it was time to get back. I was too tired to walk so Niall gave me a piggy back ride. “Thank you, Niall.” I mumbled as he put me into my bed.

“No problem, Elizabeth. Sweet dreams.” He kissed my head and then turned off the side lamp and left.

My dad woke me up early the next morning because the boys had an interview and a signing. I got up quickly, put on little make up, and grabbed some fruit before it was time to go. “What time will we be done?” I asked my dad as he knocked on the Liam’s door.

“I don’t know, probably six. Why?” My dad asked looking at me suspiciously.

Luckily the door opened and the boys came stumbling out. They all must have stayed the night there. “Ready to go boys?” I asked avoiding my dad’s stare.

“So,” My dad started during the car ride to the interview. “Boys, how about we all go out to eat at the end of the day?”

I was going to strangle my dad. He knew I wanted to do something after work and since I wouldn’t tell him what it was he was going to make it so I couldn’t. “Sounds great to me!” Niall said first, followed by the others.

“You’re coming too, right Elizabeth?” My dad asked.

“Sorry, I have other plans.” I mumbled before getting out of the limo. I pulled out my phone and sent Shawn a text letting him know when and where to meet after I was done with work.

There were so many screaming girls at the signing. It was insane how popular they were. My dad had a hard time keeping them under control and I stood behind them, occasionally taking pictures for people and getting water. We must have been at the signing for at least two hours. “So, what is so important that you’re skipping out on dinner with us?” Harry asked as we walked to the limo to head to the interview.

“I’m going to see the guy I was talking to yesterday.” I said making sure my dad wasn’t close enough to hear.

“Fine,” He sighed. “I guess that’s a good enough reason not to spend time with us.”

I slapped his arm playfully. “There will be plenty of other chances for all of us to hang out.”

“Good.” Harry winked.

“Don’t make me get Liam.” I teased.

“You like it.” He winked again.

I shoved him and got into the limo. My dad and I stood on opposite sides of the set of the interview. I didn’t want to talk to him and he needed to be near the exits. I spaced out for most of the interview, thinking about Shawn, but I quickly paid attention when they starting to talk about my dad and…me? “So what’s this about a new head of security?” The interviewer asked.

“Oh, he’s great. Today was his first day but he’s been doing a fantastic job with the fans.” Liam said.

“And is it true that his eighteen year old daughter is helping him as well?”
