Harry held my hand as we walked up to Shawn. I was grateful that he was there with me. “Hi Shawn.” I said.
He smiled when he saw me but it quickly faded when he noticed Harry. “Why is he here?” Shawn asked as politely as he could.
“We were hanging out when you texted me. I asked him to come with me for moral support.” I said squeezing Harry’s hand.
“It’s just me, Lizzy.” He sounded hurt.
“Exactly, it’s you.” A tear rolled down my cheek. “Why did you want to see me?”
“I miss you. This is hard.”
I let go of Harry’s hand and wiped the tears from his cheeks. “Seeing each other right now isn’t going to help, especially because we’re just going to have to say goodbye again.”
“I know, you’re right. I just needed to.”
I lightly brushed my lips against his. “Goodbye, Shawn.” I whispered. “I love you.” I let go of him and walked back over to Harry. I grabbed his hand and walked back into the hotel without looking back.
“You handled that well.” Harry said when we got back to his room.
I crawled into his bed, patting the spot next to me. “I couldn’t have done it without you.”
Harry crawled into the bed next to me pulling me into his lap for the second time that night. “I think you could have.” He whispered. I cuddled into this chest and fell into a peaceful sleep.
I woke up first the next morning and was still in Harry’s sleeping arms. I smiled and started playing with his curls. He started to groan and wake up. I kissed his cheek. “Morning, Harry.” He tightened his grip on me but didn’t open his eyes. “Come on, Harry. Wake up.” I said trying to wiggle out of his arms.
“Stop squirming.” He mumbled.
“Only if you wake up.” He opened his eyes and glared at me. “We’re going to Texas today! Time to get ready!” I smiled at him.
“What time is it?” He asked rubbing his eyes.
“It’s almost nine. We really should start getting ready.”
“Ugh. Fine.” He groaned.
I got out of the bed and grabbed my bag before heading to the bathroom to get changed. After fifteen minutes I came out. “Okay, the bathroom is all yours.”
“Finally! Do you know badly I have to pee?!” Harry asked running past me.
“You could have told me! I would have hurried!” I yelled after him.
“I didn’t want to rush you and then have blamed me for not looking good because I rushed you.” Harry said when he was finished.
I rolled my eyes. “Well, Harold you have about half an hour to get ready.” I said making my way to the door. “Don’t be late!”
“You’re leaving me?!”
“I would just distract you! Besides, I need to help my dad. That is why I’m here.”
“Fine.” He pouted.
“See you soon!”
My dad and Liam were pleased when everyone was on time. We made our plane in plenty of time and were off to Texas. I sat in-between Louis and Niall, Harry and Zayn sat in the row in front of us and then Liam and my dad were behind us. “So, a little birdie told me that you and Harry had a sleepover last night.” Louis said wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
