"What?" I asked with tears in my eyes.
"We're so sorry Al." Liam said while hugging me
"How?" I asked crying while Liam rubbed circles in my back
"It was a car accident." Niall said sadly while hugging me
"Just like her mom and my adoptive mom." I said upset
"Her boyfriend called and I answered since you were asleep. I hope you aren't mad at me." Liam said ashamed
"It's okay." I said wiping my tears away
"I am so sorry for your loss though." Liam said again
"I just wish I could go to the funeral or at least pay my respects." I said sadly
"We can send flowers to LA if you'd like?" Zayn suggested
"Yes please." I said.
"We don't have to go to dinner tonight if you would rather stay here and rest love.'" Liam said
"No it's okay. I wouldn't miss our first date." I said going to do my makeup
When I looked in the mirror realization hit. My best friend was dead. If I was there, this may have never happened. I sat down in a corner and cried.
"Ally." Luke said from outside the door
"Yeah?" I asked in between tears
"May I come in?"
"Yeah."
He opened the door and sat next to me.
"Are you okay?"
"I just lost my girl best friend Luke. If I stayed, she may still be alive." I said choking on tears
"Alison, this is not your fault. You couldn't have changed any of this. I know it's hard. Things will get easier. I promise." Luke said while he cradled me in a hug
I cried into his shoulder.
"Shhhh it's okay." he cooed in my ear
"I stained your shirt." I said as the tears slowed down
"It's okay." Luke said laughing
He wiped the last few tears away off of my face.
"I guess I should get ready for my date." I said trying to be happy for Shelby. She wouldn't want me being sad
"I guess you should." Luke said smiling
"I love you Lukey. You are the bestest best friend ever."
"Love you Ally. You are too."
Luke kissed my forehead and left. I did my makeup and straightened my hair.
I looked at my reflection and was pleased with my appearance. I was wearing skinny jeans, toms, a beanie, and a shirt that said "Nerd."
I walked out of the bathroom.
"You look beautiful." Liam said while kissing me
"Thanks babe." I said while holding his hand
"Are you ready to go?"
"Um yup I think so."
"Bye boys!" Liam said waving to the boys
"Bye." I said
"Bye Liam and Ally." they all said at the same time..... Creepy.
The tour bus dropped us off at a little Italian restaurant.
