Best First Day

Chapter 7

"I thought you weren't good at singing." Harry said with his mouth open wide

"Um what are you talking about?" I said acting as if that was not me singing

"We're talking about your beautiful and amazing singing voice." Niall said in a duh tone

"Um. You guys heard me sing in the car remember? I can sing again!" I said but before I could sing in my terrible voice again Louis cut me off

"Cut the crap Ms. Ally. I believe you have an amazing voice, and you lied about it. I find the defendant guilty of murdering my ears with her horrible fake singing." Louis spoke

"Hey!" I screeched causing the boys to laugh

"So why didn't you tell us you could sing?" Liam asked confused

"Because I don't think I'm too good. I never have. I'm just insecure in many ways. My voice just happens to be one of my main insecurities," I said ashamed

"Hey. You are beautiful and perfect in every way. Never be ashamed of yourself." Harry said while lifting up my chin, so I had to face his eyes.

"Ahem." Niall said. Clearly this was awkward for them all. I mean they are just standing there.

"Thanks Haz." I said smiling. He gently let go of my chin and turned to the boys.

"Soooo. What do you guys wanna do?" he said while clapping his hands

"Movie night?" Zayn suggested

"Yes!" we all shouted causing us to burst into laughter.

"What movie?" I asked excited

"How about 1D This Is Us?" Louis asked while jumping up and down

"No, Lou. We have watched that so many times." Liam said scowling at Louis

"The Lorax?" I suggested

"What's that?" Harry asked confused

"You guys have never seen The Lorax?" I gasped

"Nope." Zayn said popping the p

"Zac Efron? Taylor Swift? Betty White?" I asked trying to get them to think about it

"Taylor Swift?" Harry asked confused

Oh god. I forgot they dated.

"Yea. Sorry I shouldn't have brought it up." I said frowning

"It's ok love. Don't feel bad. I'm over her. I'm into someone new." Harry spoke

"Oh." I said sadly. So he likes someone else. That's cool. No it's not cool. I like him ALOT.

"So how about we watch a scary movie?" Harry suggested

"Um. Sure." I said smiling

"The Possession looks pretty good." Zayn said

"Ok." we all said

All the boys sat on a bed except Harry who sat ok the pull out sofa.

I sat on the floor in front of the TV which may I add was a HUGE TV.

"You can sit up here." Niall said patting the bedside next to him

"Or here." all the rest of the boys said

"Um. I'm ok down here." I said smiling

"No. Get up here." Niall said while pulling me up on his bed.

I awkwardly sat on the end. I have never thought of Niall as my type. I just feel like he is a best friend.

I felt the bed dip next to me. Niall sat up next to me and smiled at me. Then, I felt the other side of me dip in. I turned and saw Harry.

I guess I can't like him anymore since he likes someone else. I played with my hands in my lap while the movie started.

I have never been good with scary movies.

Halfway through the movie, I was cuddled into Harry's chest and squeezing Niall's hand. I was shaking like crazy. The movie hasn't even been that scary, but I get frightened easy.

"Do you need us to turn it off love?" Liam asked

"No. This is nice." Harry said pointing at me cuddling into Harry's chest

"Mmmmhmm it's fine." I mumbled

"Alright." Liam said while turning up the volume causing me to flinch

Harry wrapped his arms protectively around me, and Niall grabbed my hand tighter than he was. I love these boys, both in different ways.

Niall-Like a best friend/older brother I never had but always wanted

I feel so safe with the boys. They just make me feel so special. It's so hard to explain. All these boys deserve the fame that they have already.

We got to the part of the movie where they saw the face in the girls MRI. I screamed causing the boys to crack up.

"That's so cute. Little Ally is scared." Louis taunted me

"I'm only 4 years younger than you and 2 years younger than the rest." I pouted

"Lou, leave her alone." Harry said

"She's fine with it right?" Louis asked me

"Ya, it's ok." I said

"No. I don't want people messing with you." Harry whispered to me.

"Harry, it's ok. I'm a big girl." I whispered back

"I know I just don't want you hurt."

"Too late for that." I whisper mumbled

"What?" Harry asked

"Nothin."

"What is it love?"

"Well I mean this guy I like, likes another girl." I said frowning

"Who?" Harry said sounding jealous while whispering if that's possible

"You." I said super quiet

"Babe, I like you." Harry whispered

"You said you like another girl, not Taylor."

"I was talking about you." Harry said while blushing

"Really?" I asked still whispering

"Of course."

"You know we can hear you two right? You guys suck at whispering." Louis said
