Wong was dumbfounded after seeing Phoenix. His eyes bulging outwards, figuratively.
"Are you sure Phoenix? Exposing yourself in the open? You're not afraid?" Grabbing his arm I whisper my question.
"Yeah, it is risky though right now that information in the librarian's hand is our top priority," he whispers back and points towards the book. Releasing my grasp I glance at Master.
"So this is your true form. Remarkable," my Master admits. He eyes Phoenix from top to bottom.
"Thank you sorcerer but I'm not here for your compliment," Phoenix replies to his words before advancing towards Wong. "It might be ridiculous but I guarantee that her words are not lies," he adds.
"Truth or lies she is still not ready for this," Wong states strongly.
"What if I tell you that the book it's not what it seems?" Phoenix calmly questions the librarian.
Wong pause before sighing, "Fine."
"Cool. Now, where can we sort this out?" Turning to my Master Phoenix asks.
"Upstairs," Master begins leading the way.
Phoenix turns to Wong and beckons him to walk first. "After you, sir." Wong gives Phoenix a sharp glare before marching forwards and joining my Master's side.
"Hey, Phoenix, how can you be so alive?" I ask promptly as we were heading upstairs.
"I think this is called 'out of your body experience." He shrugs.
"You think? Are you sure?"
"Well, to start with, I didn't have a single clue."
"Okay, noted."
Our little conversation ends after we arrived at the guest table. Master takes his seat first before I take mine which is at the opposite of him. Phoenix stands tall behind me while crossing his arms and on the other hand Wong is standing behind my Master.
"What's so special about this book?" Wong began after he put down the book on the table.
"I would say this book is not ordinary," I state with a few nerves in my system.
"Of course it's not. It is one of the rarest collection the Ancient One had," Wong explains.
"The Ancient One..." I whisper as I am lowering my gaze. The scene where she was killed by Kaecilius flashes into my mind. I was deep in my thoughts. Pondering before sadness begins to wash over me.
"Master?" Phoenix pats my shoulder.
Startle by the touch I snap back to the present, "I'm sorry, wh-where were we?" Phoenix ruffles my hair playfully before giving me a warm smile. "The book silly."
"Oh yeah, right. And I'm sure the title was Ashes. Not Phoenixes," I inhale a bit before continuing. My heart is pumping like crazy because I was nervous and worry if I mess things up.
"But it clearly states that it was Phoenixes," Master intercepts.
"Okay, I might be wrong but how can I explain that these texts translated itself?" Says I as I watch the title.
"Translated? Are you using Google Translate?" Master asks as he was clearly in doubt with my Sanskrit.
"I don't have my smartphone right now so how am I going to translate these Sanskrit?" My brow arch.
Both my master and Wong pause. "I just can't believe you read it as Ashes," Master continue by leaning against his chair.
"But I swear it translated itself. The title, the texts. All of its contents were translated into English!" I state again.
