Chapter 3: Getting help

Jess's POV

I HATE MONDAYS! I get up and head downstairs to find Nate and Marissa talking. Nate sees me.

"Hey Jess" Nate said.

"Hey" I said.

"You feeling ok?" Nate asked.

"No" I said.

Liv comes in. Nods at Nate and then turns to me.

"Hey, I know you're not feeling ok but would you like to have a girls' day out?" Liv asked.

"I would love to" I said.

Nate looks pained.

"Nate, calm your shit down" Marissa said.

I smile at this. Nate looks at me, gets up, and leaves. Liv hands me my phone and purse. The three of us are met by Abbi and we walk out together. As I am leaving my phone buzzes. Who the hell is texting me at this hour? Oh it's Sierra.

*text convo*

S: my sister please thanks

J: sorry :(

S: wth where's my sister

J: w/ me

S: forever?

J: till I find this guy

S: who?

J: some guy we went to school w/

S: who??

J: N.H

S: Niall?

J: yea

S: u can have her :)

J: cuz she wants 2 meet the hottie

S: Ik she can be so ugh sometimes

J: well bye

S: bye have fun feel better

We head over to the mall. Except for the fact that I'm not ok from last night I'm having a good time so far. I have no found the courage to tell Marissa and Liv the bff story.

"Guys, remember the bff story I have been putting off?" I asked.

"Yea, you never tell" Liv said.

"I'm telling now" I said.

"Let's head to the bathroom and we can chat" Marissa said.

When we get to the bathroom I tell the whole story. For all of you who want to know what was said here goes.

"So Amy and I became friends on the first day of Pre-K because we did the same thing. We both took other people's toys so we could play with them. She lived down the street from me so we always hung out......"On the first day of 3rd grade I was sitting at my desk when Amy walks up to me and says 'Hey you. Move your ass out of my chair. I run this school. So move.' When I didn't move, she called this girl Ellie over. She told Ellie to pull the chair out from under me. I was so confused because ya know. The day went by perfectly normal till lunch. Amy didn't sit with me like she normally did. She sat with the bitches. All the bitches crowded around her. She was the Queen of the Bitches. She started to bully me but I always stood up for myself. Over the summer, she moved away from me and my life." I said.

"Well now you have us" Liv said.

"Yes, we are much nicer and hopefully you don't have to see her again" Marissa said.
