Chapter 4

Readers pov
'A sleepless night,' I thought to myself as I was still in the same position as I was last night. Still staring at the shelves that were covering the little blue door.

The thought of that mans eyes burned into my head, bags formed under my (e/c) dull eyes. I slowly stood up and stretched earning a loud and sickening crack from my spine, I limped to the bathroom and changed. "Hurry up in there, I want to get my make up done today. You have no need to be in there, everyday is just a day closer to your death" Ashley shouted while banging on the door, she knew about the disease I had and she wanted it to kill me quicker. Carelessly swinging the door open, I pushed past her and walked away, she grabbed my wrist and then pushed me as hard as she could. My eyes widened as I could no longer feel the ground beneath my feet and cold air rushed to me, I was still processing what was happing as I heard loud bangs and a few of my bones breaking. She pushed me...down the stairs on purpose. I didn't feel any of the pain because my nerves shut down long ago, the only thing I could feel was the warm liquid dripping down the front of my head. Weakly I lifted a hand to my head and touched the darkish red liquid, Ashley and her friends stood there looking at me worried. 'Why would she be worried she was the one who pushed me down,' I thought to myself as I used all my strength to push my body weight up. My vision was spinning as I limped up the stairs back to my bedroom, I used the wall for support wiping blood all over it in the process. "Are you alright?" Ashley asked me, turning my head I glared at her and shouted back "what do you think", she backed away fearing her safety, in all her life she had never seen her big sis to angry and threatening.

I carried on too my room once in there I slammed the door and locked it, I slid down it and hugged my knees to my chest. "I just want to get out this place, anywhere is better" a loud sigh escaped my pink lips.

"Are you sure that is what you want?" I froze as a deep, raspy and manly voice spoke, my head shot up to see those familiar glowing green eyes and red shoulder length hair. "W-who are you" I cursed my self for stuttering. The tall male kneeled on one knee and grabbed my chin, he pulled me closer to him as he inspected me. "I'm Jason the toymaker but you can just call me Jason, and may I ask how you got that nasty cut on your forehead, doll", some reason I didn't fear this man much, I found him charming and...attractive. he tightened his grip on my chin as his face was now a few inches away, I could feel his warm breath on my face. He was getting impatient and wanted an answer now. "Man he is hot", I looked at him to see he raised and eyebrow while looking puzzled and shocked. "Excuse me?" He asked as he pulled back, "oh shit did I say that out loud!?" He slowly nodded to let me know how awkward I made it, my face blushed as his hand still remained cupping my chin. "I'm sorry I talk out loud a lot, and the answer to your previous question is that i was pushed down the stairs by my slutty sister." His shocked expression soon turned serious as his eyebrows furrowed together, and he looked a bit pissed off. "And why'd she do that for?". He questioned me once again, "no one cares about me, I'm dying of a disease and they want to get rid of me quicker. I'm going to die anyway so they beat me and take everything out on me, its been like this my whole life. I'm not wanted I'm just waiting for my body to shut down and die".

Jason looked surprised, he was no longer holding my chin but instead was towering above me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me up. His words surprised me and made me happy as he led me through the blue door that seemed to grow in size as we walked through it and shrunk once we were in. His words that made me fall for him were:
