"Jason!" I called waiting for his loud response from the other room, "Yea!" A smile graced my features seeing him poke his head around the door frame, curiosity written all over his handsome face. "you have that meeting at the mansion today don't you? I think you better head off now" He stood up and brushed himself off, me standing up next to him. I put his jacket into place and straightened a few wild strand of hairs, "Didn't realize you wanted to get rid of me that quick, cheers" he smiled and took my hand placing a quick kiss on it "you know what I meant, now get going. Please hurry back, there's a storm coming"
"Alright, goodbye my dear." I grabbed the dust pan and brush that was near and began sweeping up the mess his leather boots left behind "see you later and be careful!" he quickly slammed the door behind him when i was speaking, cutting off my sentence "well that was uncivil, Now i have to find something to do to keep me occupied while he is gone." sweeping up the remains of dirt that was laying messily on the wooden brown floor.
Timeskip
For the last two hours I had been doing nothing but laying in bed huddled in a tight ball under the covers, pulling them as close as i could to my trembling body. Fear coursed throughout my entire body and fresh tears brimmed my frightened (e/c) eyes, squeezing them shut to try and block off the world. A loud clap of thunder echoed throughout the small house causing a scream to leave my quivering lips, my throat sore from screaming repeatedly.
Jason's Pov
The lightning lit up the whole mansion giving off this eerie feeling that would have scared any normal human, the loud bangs of thunder rumbling in my ears. "Shit, (y/n)!" My head shot in the direction off the door and grabbed my black tailcoat quickly throwing it on, Jeffery calmly walked up to me with a questioning look "Yo Jason, Where you off to. Bet it's to see that little cutie you go-" I cut Ben off as i grabbed Jeff's knife out of his hand and threw it towards Ben, Unfortunately it missed. He screamed in fright but i didn't have time for that right now, i need to get home. I ran out the door slamming it harshly behind me, my clothes getting soaked and my mahogany hair sticking to my face. "Hang in there (y/n), I'm coming"
Readers pov
The door burst open making me release another scream, unknowingly Jason had shouted my name but i failed to hear it over the never ending thunder. The door was slammed shut and immediately after, quick and heavy footsteps banged against the wooden floor running towards the room i was hiding in. "(Y/N)!" This time i heard his hoarse voice, I peeped my head out of the blankets and smiled timidly "Your late." He was breathing heavily and was soaking wet from top to bottom, his expression showed that he was worried. "I know and I'm sorry my love" Another clap of thunder and lightning made me bury myself deeper into the blankets, I yet again was to busy hiding that i failed to notice that he had taken off his shirt and had climbed into the bed. He pulled me close to his warm body and whispered reassuringly into my ear, i cuddled closer to his chest and buried my face into it. He placed gentle kisses all over my face and held onto me tightly, he placed his head atop of mine. "Its all going to be okay, nothing's going to hurt you" After an hour of constant shrieking due to the thunder it slowly began to die down, and i slowly began to drift off to a deep sleep.
