"Diana!" My mother calls me.
"Yeah Ma?" I yell back down the stairs.
"You got a visitor!" She yells. Juliet, my wolf jumps excitedly. I sniff the air and smell my best friend as she walks up the steps to my room.
"Jenna!" I exclaimed happily.
She bursted into my room and practically threw herself at me. "Didi!!!!" She exclaims.
Didi is my nickname. My name is Diana Coleman and my Dad is the Former Gamma of the Blade Pack.
Once Jenna's older sister, Vanessa, took over the Alpha position and got a new gamma, my family has been moving back to the Pack.
It's the Gamma's job to keep good communications with the other packs so they travel Pack to pack like ambassadors. Of course they bring their families along.
So we're moving back home. It's been at least a year since we last visited. It's honestly the best thing ever to see Jenna.
"Guess what?" Jenna says excitedly. "Vanessa met her mate!"
I gasp in shock. "Who?"
"Jax." She says happily and somewhat victoriously.
"Lucky! I still haven't met mine. And I've traveled to all of the packs. That literally leaves one option for me. My mates probably a rogue." I say the last bit with a sad undertone.
Jenna wraps her arm around me supportively. "You'll be okay Didi. You always are. Right?"
I nod. "I guess."
"Great. Now want to go for a run and see my Mom?" Jenna knows how much I adore her Mom, Lily, Former Luna.
Lily has a Hellhound form and I have always thought it was awesome.
Lily and I get along really well. She asked me one time if she was sure Jenna and J weren't switched at birth or something as a joke but then I actually considered it.
I got over that though. I'd always been Diana Coleman and always would be just Diana Coleman, daughter of the Firmer Gamma.
Vanessa chose my older sister, Kelsey to be the new Gamma so she was out and about doing her job already.
She'd taken her mate and two pups with her. I was kind of sad about that part.
Henry and Freddy were my two nephews and I loved them dearly.
"Ready?" Jenna asked as we tied our clothes to our ankles.
I nodded. "Since I was born!"
Jenna grinned before she shifted into her magnificent midnight black wolf with the same bright blue eyes that her human form had.
I grin and shift into my white wolf and green eyes, like in my human form.
We chased one another around a bit before shifting back.
We got dressed and walked up to Jenna's house. "You okay?" Jenna teases when she sees my giant grin.
"It's good to be home." I sat before we walk into her house.
