5 - Sister Vs. Alpha

I sat down at the table with my fifth slice of cake and Alpha Vincent's eyes glued to me.

His eyes were filled with adoration and wonder as he watched me eat my cake.

Jenna was full on glaring at Alpha Vincent which he did not like but I knew that Juliet agreed with me. If it came between Vincent and Jenna.

We'd choose Jenna in a heartbeat.

Jenna and I get up and go to a corner where our pack is gathered. Vanessa is talking so we listen carefully.

"As you all know, Diana Coleman is the new Luna of the Heron Pack. This means that she will not be coming home with us. She will remain here with Alpha Vincent when we leave tomorrow." Vanessa looks distraught.

Jax, her mate puts an arm around her shoulder to comfort her.

Juniper groans. "She's staying here?" She whined and looked at me.

My eyes widen. I hadn't thought about that. I guess I will.

I look down at my feet and look at the detail on my shoe.

"Oh hell no." Juniper says before storming off. I'm guessing to find Vincent.

Turns out that she stormed off into the girls bathroom and broke two bathroom stalls but no one really cared.

Alpha Vincent walked over to our pack.

"Hello. Alpha." He greeted Vanessa who looked like she was going to kill someone.

"You hurt her and we will declare war, you hear me?" Vanessa threatened.

Alpha Vincent nodded not looking to concerned. "I would never harm her."

I feel the sincerity of his words. Through the mate bond I suppose, not that there is much of one yet.

"Come on Diana. You will see them in the morning." Alpha Vincent says as he leads me away from them. I looked back at them and I could feel their love for me and their sadness as I was pulled away by my mate.

I sigh and let him pull me along.

This is going to be an interesting night.
