We all got on the bus which already smelled of sweat and humidity.

Vanessa stood at the front of the bus once everyone was settled. "I know that some of you are unaware of where we are going. We are currently going to a meeting with all of the other pack's former and current leaders. The meeting is being hosted by Alpha Vincent if the Heron Pack."

There was some comments made from the back quietly and I could tell that mates were using their mind links to share opinions.

I was seated next to Jenna who was scrolling through her Instagram feed.

Then someone spoke up. "Why are we going?" We all turned to see Jake, my older brother, standing to ask the question.

Vanessa smiled. She loved our family so everyone knew it was okay.

"Alpha Vincent is looking for his mate. He didn't find her in his pack or among the rogues so he wants to see if it's one of us." Vanessa said nonchalantly.

This was news to all of the single females and to their fathers.

Jenna and I just sat there and looked at our phones.

"Now we'll get going." Vanessa signaled the bus driver to begin driving and sat in her seat.

Wolves all around me began talking about anything and everything imaginable.

After about three hours of this, the bus pulled up in front of a large hotel.

We all flooded out of the bus and we were ushered by Alpha Vincent's Pack into the hotel.

We weren't even able to go to our rooms. We all were told to stay in the lobby.

Alpha Vincent wanted to see us all now.

I felt suddenly nervous.

What if he's my mate? What if he kills us all? Will there be food after this?

I normally would be pretty chill with the situation at hand but I really wasn't considering the circumstances.

Then everyone fell silent as Alpha Vincent entered the lobby.

I was suddenly hit with the most heavenly scent. Alpha Vincent's eyes turned black.

"She's here." He bellowed gaining everyone's attention, not that he didn't have it already what with his dramatic entrance.

He suddenly began walking through the crowd, I grabbed Jenna's hand as he neared is.

Oh goddess no.

Then he stopped in front of me and Jenna. We both visibly paled and I noticed that we were both shaking in fear.

Alpha Vincent looked into my eyes and then grabbed my arm.

There was a loud chorus of gasps from the audience as I was pulled to the front of the lobby with Alpha Vincent.

I was shaking and felt close to tears. Torn away from Jenna who looked equally as afraid.

Her eyes looked like she wanted to scream. I knew she wouldn't though.

"You. What is your name little mate?" Alpha Vincent whispered to me.

"Diana Coleman." I force myself to say. It comes out as a hoarse croak.

Alpha Vincent grins and nods, indicating that he got my name.

"MEET MY LUNA, LUNA DIANA." He roared and it was met with applause and cheers from everyone. Well, almost everyone.

Jenna had begun to sob on her father's shoulder who was now glaring at Alpha Vincent.

My wolf howled with glee when Alpha Vincent snaked his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

I held back a scream.

There's no way.
