Alpha Vincent led me up to a large hotel room. It was themed red and gold and had a large king sized bed in the center and in one corner a bathroom and a flat screen TV larger than my future. Or me.

I stand in the doorway gaping at the room. The room was bigger than any bedroom I'd ever seen before.

"You going to come in?" Alpha Vincent asked me.

I nodded and came in, he closed the door behind me. The sound of the door closing made me jump.

"I got your bag." Alpha Vincent says motioning towards my black duffel bag on the bed.

I nod and grab it.

"Do you speak?" He asked me seriously.

"Yes." I answered.

"Oh good. I thought I might have a mute for a Luna." He jokes.

I chuckled lightly. "Nah. I just prefer to talk to people after I watch them for a bit and pick up on their behavior patterns." I said unzipping my bag.

"Behavior patterns?" Vincent parrots.

"Yeah. My Dad was the Gamma of the Blade Pack so I traveled a lot and learned that each pack is different in it's own way and how to best fit in with the pack I was with." I elaborate.

"That makes sense. I noticed how you watched the wolves in the dinner." Vincent says.

I felt strangely comfortable with Vincent.

"You seemed close with Alpha Vanessa." Vincent continued.

I nodded. "Yeah, my Mom and Luna Lily are best friends and Luna Lily treats me like a third daughter."

Vincent grins. "That's great. No one in my pack ever seemed to like me until I became Alpha."

"Oh."Well how was I supposed to respond to that?

"I'm going to go get changed." I say awkwardly and Vincent chuckled and nodded.

I rush into the bathroom and lock the door. I quickly pull on my t-shirt and pajama bottoms.

Once I'm done, I wash my face and brush my teeth before leaving the bathroom.

I walk out to see Vincent shirtless and in sweatpants. He's watching the television and holding the remote in one hand while holding his phone in the other.

I close the bathroom door and his head snaps to meet mine. His eyes turn black faster than my Dad's when he's mad.

I climb onto the side of the bed that he's not on. He turns off the lights and I am so tired that I am immediately out like the light.
