You stood, completely dazed as your handmaiden approached you with a miniature black box. You half gasped as she cleared her throat to gather your attention, startling you. "Wha-what is it Sera?" you stammered, confusion filling your eyes as you watched the box when she steped towards you. "The Master has given you this and asks that you wear it to the ceremony." she gritted her teeth as she spit out master. She wasn't anyone more fond of your fiancé than you.
You opened the box surprised as you peered in and saw a large and gaudy gem. It was a wine red and would matched your eyes considering the mood you were in.
You were angry, frustrated. You knew that you were a pawn, a puzzle piece, part of the first order's battle plan. You were to be given as the wife of Kylo Ren, to produce heirs. You were to be made a breeding station to one of the most evil men in the entire universe.
In exchange for the use of your womb, your planet would be safe. Your family and darling niece would be safe. No, it was worth it. You would die for your people if it came to that. You were not afraid to go through with this. You were excited. Yes, it would be an adventure!
Lies.
You were terrified, you were enraged, and disgusted. But no one was going to let you back out now. It was for the good of the universe. You parents had explained countless of times and tried to feed you the lies that, "The first order is here to bring peace, they only kill those who rise against the federation. Those who are a danger to us." Ha, bullshit.
Sera pulled the gem out if the box revealing it as a choker. As she gently used her wooden fingers to tighten it around you, you felt her leaves brush against your arms. She blushed in embarrassment, your brushed it off. The leaves where... soothing. A reminder of land, which once married, you most likely wouldn't see much of, since your fiancé was alway in some corner of space hunting down rebel fighters.
You pulled on your light grey silk wedding dress, and slid into you dark, thigh high boots. Sera draped a black cape that was another gift given by your caring husband-to be to keep warm out in space. With all your garments and appearance done, you swished quickly to the vanity glimpse at your exterior. Your snapped out of your daze by your appearance. You look... sexy. This outfit choice would have never crossed your mind in a hundred years, your style was more flowy dresses, and riding pants when Maxim would take you out for a ride. But it was still striking on you, suiting your slim waist and thighs. Your neck looking even more elegant with the choker.
"Mistress-" Rounding your attention once more to Sera, she continued. "I'm going to miss you. So much." Sera whispered in between sobs. "Me as well, but tears won't fix anything now. Bring me to the court room, I'm ready." you ended, your shoulders carrying the wait of the world.
Sera and you walked down the corridor, sunflowers and other wild flowers filling the many vases in the long usual sunny hall. The day was rainy and gloomy, a perfectly ugly day for a wedding with a devil. You saw your family waiting patiently at the end of the walkway. You saw Francesca in front of her mother and as you got nearer and crouched down she jumped into your arms, burying her tear stained face into your neck. "Please don't leave Tin." she breathed. You held her until you sister-in law and brother Hades pulled her from you, you choked on a sob as your Father grabbed your arm as you stood by the court room door. Your mother kissed your cheek, and you called out a goodbye to your family as you walked inside to meet fate, and possibly death.
