"DAD?!?!" You didn't expect your dad to be here. He was supposed to be in Hong Kong for another three weeks. 

"Princess!" He smiled as soon as he saw you. You ran to him and hugged him tightly. "I missed you so much. I brought you a souvenir." He handed you a small box. 

"Wow. Thank you. I didn't expect you to come back so early. Wow." 

"Are you not happy to see me?" Jungkook just stood there awkwardly he was debating whether he should say something or just wait. 

"Of course I am dad! You don't know how happy I am to see you. Wow I missed you so much." 

"Me too. I decided to come back early, so I could see my princess go off to prom." Your heart skipped a few beats when you heard the word prom. You knew you had to go now that your dad came back just for that. Prom wasn't until in May though, so you were confused on why your father came back one month before it. Your father knew that if he completed the job he would be assigned another one right away, so he avoided that by coming home a month earlier. You opened the box and you saw a snow globe that said Hong Kong on it. "Now, are you not going to introduce me to the young man right there." You had almost forgotten that Jungkook was right there. 

"Oh Yeah," you grabbed Jungkook's hand and pulled him closer to you, "Jungkook, this is my dad. Dad, this is Jungkook. He is my boyfriend." 

"Hello sir." Jungkook stretched out his hand to shake your dad's hand. 

"Hello future son in law." He shook Jungkook's hand. Jungkook blushed at his words. 

"DAD!" You were embarrassed that your father called Kook that. 

"What? It's not like I'm wrong." He said laughing at your reaction. He always knew how to mess around with you. 

"The food is ready; you probably don't want to eat it cold." You mom laughed as the three of you looked over. You guys had almost forgotten that you came down to eat. The three of you sat down at the table. You dad sitting next to your mom, and you sitting to Jungkook's left. Jungkook was not expecting to meet your father today so he was extremely nervous. 

"So Jungkook... what are you planning on studying?" Your father asked as he began to dig into the rice. 

"Photography, sir. I love to take pictures." 

"Wow. Great career choice. Photography is a wonderful thing. I actually love to go to photography museums. I enjoy it. It fascinates me. Best of Luck." 

"Thank you so much, sir." 

"You can call me dad." You almost choked on your tortilla. You were not expecting your dad to say that. On the other hand, Jungkook found it funny and laughed.  "You picked a great boy, Y/N." 

"I know," you said. You turned away trying to hide the fact that you were clearly blushing. Jungkook just smiled at how shy you got. You all finished your dinner. Jungkook and You made sure to do all of the weekend homework you were assigned. You were glad that you could wake up late tomorrow, and that you did not have school. You were laying down on your bed resting while Jungkook packed up his school supplies. Jungkook's mother was already on her way to pick him up. 

"Y/N?" You turned sat up and looked at him.

"Yes?" You answered. 

"I know this is not the most romantic or nicest way to ask you, but would you like to be my date to prom?" 

"I would love to." You got up and ran to him. You gave him a peck on the lips and hugged him tightly. "You do not need to ask in an extra way for me to say yes. I would say yes even if you asked ten minutes before prom starts. I would say yes to you no matter what." Jungkook smiled at your words. He had never felt this way. He loved you with all of his heart. He loved you more than he loved himself. 

"Thank you, and I love you." He hugged you tightly. You hugged each other for about eight seconds when his phone started ringing. It was his mom calling him to tell him that she was already outside of your house. He grabbed his backpack and his clothes. You walked downstairs with Jungkook by your side. You found that your mom and dad were watching some documentary on Netflix. Your mom turned around and noticed that you were standing there with Kook. 

"Are you leaving, Jungkook?" She asked pausing the documentary. 

"Yeah. My mom is here." He answered with a warm smile. Your mom and dad stood up and walked towards the both of you. 

"Goodbye. Take care. You are always welcome here no matter what." You mom smiled at him and gave him a short hug. 

"Thank you Mrs. Y/L/N"  He smiled at her once again. 

"Goodbye, Son in Law." Your dad shook hands with Jungkook. You almost choked when you heard that nickname again. You took Jungkook outside and hugged him goodbye. You gave him a peck on the cheek since you felt uncomfortable kissing him in front of your parents. You watched as he got into his car, and his mother waved goodbye to you. You waved back and saw them drive away. You got inside your house and closed the door. 

"HE ASKED ME TO PROM!!!" You screamed. You were so happy. You had not felt this happy in a long time. At first, you did not want to go, but something about Jungkook made you want to live life and make amazing memories together. 

"Oh my god really!" Your mom smiled widely. She was almost as excited as you were. For the past two years, she had seen you stay home for school dances. She had not seen you at a school event in so long. She felt happy that Jungkook was helping you go out. When she was your age she was way more outgoing, but she knew that your personality was more like your dad's which was more calm but still fun. 

"Yes! I'm so happy. This is like a dream come true!" You could not contain your excitement. 

"I am so happy for you, love." She hugged you tightly. You knew that your mom was so happy to see you go out and have fun. "Oh my god. Let's go look for a dress tomorrow." 

"Why? There is still a whole month left." 

"Oh Y/N, in one month everything is going to be gone. It's prom season. When I went to prom, I got my dress two months before." 

"Oh wow, Okay." 

"Okay, go rest, honey. We are leaving tomorrow at nine, okay? I know a good shop here." Your mother helped Andrea buy a dress for her daughter three years ago, so she knew shops that sold amazing dresses. You walked upstairs and changed into your pajamas. You were so happy. No matter how sad you were, Jungkook always found a way to make you smile. You made your bed, and went to sleep.

Hello :)! So... yesterday I only wrote a chapter and a half. I had to finish this chapter today lmao. I got distracted easily with some BTS mashups. I think the DNA x Danger one is still my favorite, but the creators of these mashups are honestly super talented. Like they can make them sound amazing. I hope you had a nice reading. I actually hope you are still reading at this point. Trust me the story will get less boring. I already have the whole book planned out. Bye :-)
