"Can you explain something to me?"

"Yeah?"

"What did Jennifer like about me? What did she see in me? Did I hurt her too much?"

"She always told me that you were so nice to her. She said you were perfect to her eyes. That you loved her, and cared about her. Your looks were the last thing she ever mentioned. She saw love in you. She told me that all the time. She said that she saw someone she would love to marry. She said she saw her prince charming in you. I know this barely makes sense, but she felt like she could not put it into words. You didn't hurt her. It wasn't you. What hurt her was being forced to leave you. She would have forgiven you if you came back. She loved you too much to hate you. She still loves you. She never felt like it was YOUR fault."

Jimin was didn't say anything for a moment. He took in every word you said.

"I still love her."

"I know. You wouldn't have come if you didn't."

"I wish we could've worked out."

"Things happen for a reason."

"I know. She was such a wonderful girl. Sometimes when we went out on dates, she would tell me she loved me. At first, I didn't know how I felt. I would just tell her that I liked her too. I never got to tell her how much I loved her. And it hurts knowing it's too late."

"Jennifer out of all people knew that sometimes it was hard expressing feelings into words. Especially love. She said she was lucky that she could write poems, but even sometimes she struggled. She knew you loved her. She knew it, Jimin. Even when you left her, she knew that you still loved her."

At that moment, your mom walked in carrying two sleeping bags, blankets, and two pillows.

"Here you go boys. Make yourself comfortable. If you need anything else ask me. I will be in my room." Your mom walked out of the door. Jimin noticed the picture you had of you and Jennifer.

"She was so beautiful," he said. You turned around and saw the picture.

"I know."

"Y/N, I love you," Jungkook said. He hadn't said anything since you and Jimin started talking.

"I know." You said. You gave him a warm smile.

"I just wanted you to know." Jimin's words hit him. He understood what Jimin felt like when he said that he never got to tell Jennifer that he loved her. He wanted to make sure you always knew that he loved you. "I will never leave you." He said cupping your face in his hands. Jimin was busy setting up his sleeping bag. Then you remembered. You were still holding the bracelet in your hand.

"This was the bracelet I gave Jennifer. This was hers. She told me in my letter that she wanted me to give it to you. She also wanted to thank you for making me smile." You put the bracelet on him. He looked at it.

"Are you sure you want to give this to me? This is meaningful."

"She said you deserved it. She wanted this. Thank you for understanding me." Once you said those words you burst into tears. You hugged him as tight as possible. You didn't want to let go at the moment. You could hear that he started to cry too. He hugged you back. He never met Jennifer, but he met you. From what you told him she was amazing. He felt as if he lost a part of you when she died. Jimin got up and hugged both of you. He cried with you. The three of you cried until you could finally let out all your emotions. "Thank you guys. I don't know what I could do without you."

"Jennifer was so nice to give this to me. I wish I got to meet her." Jungkook stared at the bracelet.

"You still can," answered Jimin. Looking at you.

"What?" Jungkook asked confused.

"Look at Y/N. Look in her eyes. You can see Jennifer in her. They were young when they met. They influenced each other. They each had a piece of each other. They were one." Jungkook looked at you. He looked in your eyes. He felt as if he could understand Jennifer's decision. Not only because he could see her in you, but because he also never had a real friend. He knew exactly how lonely she felt.

"People can be toxic sometimes." He looked down at the bed sheets.

"What?" you and Jimin asked in unison.

"People can be d*cks. They hurt you until they push you to a limit. They ignore you until they've lost you. They don't pay attention to you until they are at your funeral. And then they pretend like they always cared." Jungkook's words surprised you. You could see that he felt that way at a point in his life.

"Jungkook?" you asked.

"Yes?"

"Did you ever..." You couldn't finish your question when he interrupted.

"Yes. I wanted to leave. I felt lonely, but then something in me told me that there was still hope." You hugged him. You were so glad that he stayed. "You know, another reason why she didn't want a funeral was because she didn't want fake people there. She did not want classmates that never cared there. She didn't want the love she was never given then. That would be fake love. She didn't want that. She wasn't going to say that to her parents, obviously, because maybe she didn't want to cause any problems." You realized he was right. You met Jennifer, and one of the things she hated the most was fake people.

"You are right."

Jimin looked like he had just discovered something completely new. He then looked at Jungkook. "Thank You. I understand her now."

"Do you guys want to sleep? We still have one more day of school left."

"Yeah." both boys answered in unison.

You then went to sleep. You felt like talking to them helped you. You no longer felt lonely.
