A few weeks later, Powers flew out to Stanford, Connecticut, where he went to WWE headquarters to meet up with Triple H and Stephanie, and sign on the dotted line.
Brandon: Thanks again for this opportunity Hunter, I'll make sure to not disappoint!
Triple H: No problem Brandon. Now, We're gonna start you off at NXT the week after this month's Takeover for your debut. Until then, you can relax for your time until then. Feel free to go to Performance Center to brush up on your skills, and train. We'll call you when we're ready for you. By the way, we got ya free tickets to takeover if you want to go.
Brandon: Thanks Hunter, I've heard some good things about NXT, especially takeover pay per views I can't wait to be a part of it all, it's gonna be an awesome ride.
After he signed it and He shook hands with Hunter, and caught another flight to a hotel in New York where Takeover: Brooklyn was taking place. A day before Takeover, Brandon was chilling out at a local park in the area just admiring the scenery since this was his first time in Brooklyn. Then all of a sudden.
?: Hey, aren't you the new guy that just signed a few days ago?
He turned to see Ashley, better known as Charlotte Flair walking up towards him.
Brandon: Yeah, that's me, Brandon Bazil a.k.a Brandon Powers. Nice to meet you!
Ashley: Ashley, Charlotte Flair, Pleasures all mine.
They shook hands and she sat down next to him.
Ashley: So, here for Takeover tomorrow?
Brandon: Yep, Hunter gave me tickets a few days ago so I flew over here and got settled in. So what brings you out here
Ashley : Well, I just got done working out for a bit so I decided to go on a bit of a sightseeing tour for a while before I probably work out one more time ,get something to eat ,and head back to the hotel to sleep for tomorrow.
Brandon: Alright, I'm just on a chill day today so there's nothing really going on today for me.
Ashley : Hey, since you're not doing anything, you can join in if you wanna.
Brandon: You sure?
Ashley: Yeah, it's kinda lonely out here to be honest.
Brandon: Alright, I'll join in. I was getting bored anyway.
Ashley: Sweet!
So the two friends walked and talked around most of Brooklyn. A few minutes later they both arrived at CrossFit South Brooklyn.
Ashley: Hey, Colby, I brought a friend with me. Meet the new NXT Signee, Brandon Powers
There standing in front of them was CrossFit Jesus himself, Colby Lopez better known as Seth Rollins.
Colby: Hey! Welcome to WWE! I heard about you from Kevin in the indys.
Brandon: Hey Colby! Nice to meet you!
Ashley: I'm just showing him around Today before Take over tomorrow.
Colby: Is he going?
Brandon: Yep Front row!
Colby: Sick! gonna be a good show!
Ashley: Well, time to get training!
Brandon: Agreed!
With that the two went through an intensive workout session.
Afterwards, as planned they walked to a nearby grill and got to know each other there.
Ashley: So what's the story with you?
Brandon: Well, haven't really explained my story to anyone else so bare with me here. It gets wild.
Ashley: Why? Too personal?
