Crossroad

Patrick POV

 "Take care on your way home. Send me message when you arrive."

"I know, talk to you again later." Said Nick before he disconnected the phone call. 

I stared at my phone for some minutes. Nick... I smell something is going wrong. I could not catch what is it, but somehow I felt that Nick is not in his good condition. Is it because he is tired? No.. I don't think so. 

I might not a perfect boyfriend, well.. honestly this is the second relationship that I ever had. The first time was years ago, when I still in high school. Not to mention that this is the first time for me for having a relationship with a man. If you asked me whether or not I will ever dare to have a relationship with same gender with myself, my answer will definitely NO. But, as you know, I see Nick not in those kind thing. When I meet him, when I see him smiling, I forget any definition of gender or whatsoever. For me he is Nick, the one whose grab my whole self in his little fingers. I don't need more explanation about how I fell high over heels toward him. All I know is that I love him with all of I am. And I want Nick to notice how deep and serious my feeling for him and I wish he will have some more faith about our relationship.

In the early morning the next day I got  a call from my manager. I barely able to open my eyes when he attacked me with hundreds questions. 

"Are you mad? do you want to end  your career? "

 " What are you talking about?" I asked him 

"Open your weibo!"  Xiao Lu-my manager snapped at me, which make me wonder what is the big deal that make him roared since morning.

I reached my phone and login into weibo. My cellphone vibrated unstoppable once I login, I never seen so many messages and tagged in my account before. I blinked my eyes for several times, and after some moments I started to realize why is my manager freaking out. There, in Weibo,  me and Nick become the trending topic. 

"Do you see it?" my manager asked me again

"Hmm"

"What do you mean by 'hmm'?!! just a few days ago your pictures with an unknown girl were all over internet, and now!! what is it? dating a guy?! are you insane?"

"We already talked about this matter  since beginning. I joined with this industry doesn't mean that I'll giving up my persona life. "

"Come on Pat! you know what is the consequences of your action. Stop playing around. I will arrange a clarification regarding this matter. What you need to do is just following order from the company."

"What are you going to do?"

"What else? of course we need to release an official statement from our company to clarify this scandal. It is only a cheap rumor, if you cooperate with us, it wont take a long time to solve this problem. If necessary we can use the previous rumor about you with that unknown girl. " 

"Don't you dare to do that."

"So what do you want? let this scandal destroy all of our hard work? Do you want to throw away all of your dream just for a mere plaything? "

"He is not a plaything!!"

"So , do you want to tell that you are serious with him?!  Pat!! listen! I know at your age you might got confused for some feeling. It is normal to get attract to someone else, boy or girl, but you need to put your mind clear . You won't have any future with him. "
