The outsider

Nick POV

The filming was finished earlier than schedule. I called Ryan to inform him that I will come to his place right away, and since he doesn't has anything to do, he's agree to meet earlier. When I arrived, Ryan was standing in front of his house's gate with Kabi standing next to him while wagging his tail. I don't know that he will bring Kabi to go along with him, such a protective dad he is. (Kabi is Ryan's dog).

"Hey Bro... Kabi say hello to uncle! " Ryan greeted me and waving his dog's paw at me. I just grinned at his eccentric behavior.

"Where is Huan?" He asked me while putting his seat belt.

"She's at home. I come directly from the filming location, so I don't have enough time to take her with me."

"Kabi will miss her, isn't it Kabi?" Ryan looked at his dog with a fake-sad eyes.

"Ah, by the way we are gonna pick Patrick up from his school before head to the Ximending. " I added. Ryan nodded and start to talked about some random things.

Patrick's school is not that far, it is only take 15 minutes driving from Ryan's place. This is not the first time I come here, I've been here twice before. The first time was before the last filming of CTL and the second time was when we had a date plan, but canceled because suddenly his prof was called him.

"By the way what we're gonna eat today?"  Ask Ryan while I parked the car in front of Patrick's department's building.

"Not sure, Zach like to eat Hot Pot, I think he will suggest us to have it. "

"Well, not a bad idea. As long as he will pay for us." Said Ryan

"Lets make him to do so, he earn lot of money recently." I added which make Ryan grinning happily.

We wait Patrick for several minutes inside the car, but later, Ryan insisted to wait outside in order to enjoy the "campus" life (Well, in my opinion he just want to drooling over girls from this univ >,>).

I checked on my watch and decide to send Patrick a message to inform him that we've arrive. I just unlocked my phone when I saw him running outside. Ryan waving his hand, but seemed that Patrick did not see us, well... this silly boy sometimes have a really bad vision.

"Patrick!! " suddenly  a girl come from nowhere and grabbed Patrick's arm, stopping him on his track. I and Ryan just observing those two from our spot. Patrick still did not notice our presence. The girl talked about something. She tucked her hair behind her ear, looks troubled for some unspeakable reason. His red cheeks due to lose breath make her looks delicate. And somehow it make me feel uncomfortable. I averted my gaze to other direction, unconsciously holding my hand in a fist.

"I bet that girl has a crush on Patrick." Said Ryan while pointing at that girl. I didn't say anything. I do think the same thing, but somehow I don't want to admit it.

"She's hot. I wonder why Patrick didn't make any move. Sometime he is just too dumb." Ryan added. I follows Ryan gaze and saw that both of Patrick and the girl are still talking to each other.

"Hey!! Patrick!! busy hah?" Ryan suddenly shouting, I want to hide myself on the ground right now. This kid really helpless! Patrick averting his gaze to us, and stare at me with a wide eyes. Well, do I look that horrible ?

Patrick slightly shoved the girl and walk toward us. He keep staring at me while walking, ignoring Ryan who blabbering about how rude Patrick because he left the hot girl over there by herself.

"How long you've been here?" He asked, Patrick still did not tear his gaze on me. I tried to avoiding his stare.

"Long enough to see you with that hot girl. Who is that? your new fan? or new girlfriend hah?" Said Ryan while nudging on Patrick arm.
