“So his names Jace?” I nodded Hailey was thinking a lot but at least she wasn’t going on and on like my mom had last night, it was nice to see her so happy though so I didn’t say anything it was nice because I didn’t mind the teasing.

“Yea and oh my god he is hot as-.”

“Go on?” I jumped pretty high whirling to see the one and only, Jace the one who was hitting on me like no tomorrow yesterday but now he just looked amused.

“Want to introduce me?” Hailey asked tapping my shoulder and I nodded taking a step back he noticed and smirked staring me down again sending chills down my spine.

“Hailey, this is Jace and Jace, this is my best friend Hailey.” They looked at eachother before Hailey rolled her eyes crossing her arms over her chest Jace seemed slightly annoyed.

“Your one of the bad boy types right?” He nodded and before I could stop her. “Just letting you know I’m not afraid to get expelled for throwing some asshole out a window so watch yourself.” Enter face palm here.

“No intention of hurting her.” She nodded before returning back to my Hailey the one who joked instead of being an overprotective best friend.

“So, you're a reborn I could see that coming from a mile away but I’m not touching that with a ten foot pole.” It’s like she had no filter whatsoever.

“Ok can you no-.” Jace chuckled before shrugging.

“She’s not different from any other girl who know’s me and she’s right, you should probably stay away from me for your own sake I don’t feel like being thrown out a window anytime soon.” I was shocked, stunned, and kind of sad when he walked away.

“I’ll see you later.” Hailey walked to her class and I noticed Jace walking in a different direction so you know what? Fuck it I need a smoke. I walked out to the side of the building where I knew there weren’t any camera’s and pulled out my pack with my lighter and lit up inhaling the smoke.

“I didn’t expect you to be a smoker.” I snapped my eyes to Jace glaring. “Or the type to skip class just for a quick puff.” I rolled my eyes this time taking another drag.

“Looks can be deceiving.” He nodded leaning against the wall next to me taking the cigarette out of my hand and taking a drag himself.

“If you haven’t noticed yet I’m bipolar but who isn’t?” I nodded just listening to him talk which I could listen to him do for hours. “Honestly you’re interesting from what I can see and I want to get to know you.” As he said this he was inching closer and closer to me tell he was right there looking down at me. “But I’m bad news and you seem like a good girl.” Ok now that pissed me off to where I grabbed my cigarette and pushed him away from me.

“Why do you keep assuming things about me? Like if I have a boyfriend or if I’m a good girl when you don’t know me we just met yesterday.” He didn’t looked shocked or stunned or amused, he was calm and collected till I was done.

“Do you have a boyfriend?” I felt the blush rise to my cheeks.

“No.” Why did I just admit that to him?

“Do you listen to your parents? Do you get good grades do you party do you sneak out?” He started getting closer and closer again.

“No.” The side of his lip curled up slightly before he trapped me between his arms staring me down.

“Sometimes being a good kid isn’t a bad thing, don’t take it as an insult but a compliment cutie.” He plucked the cigarette from my fingers taking another drag then handing it back so I could.
