Chapter 1: My Name's Lilith
I quickly packed up my things in a overly large backpack that I loved way too much as it could carry many things for me that I've used to travel with loads of times, and even to Wales!
The reason to why I was packing was because I got chosen to be on Total Drama, which was my final chance to win to get the money for my father. You see, my dad has cancer and we don't know how long he'll last out of this. So, I'm going to pay it off to have it done for him. We couldn't afford to get him fixed and so I finally have the chance to help.
My older brothers don't even mind, as they could care less about me. They only think of me as a punching bag to them. And now, I was also getting away from them as well. I was going to America! This was the best chance I was getting as well for that too.
I was from London, England, as I was a born Brit. Although, I don't exactly look like one as I had flown to different countries when I was a child. I've only travelled across of Europe though, never anywhere else. It all stopped when my mum left my father for another man that was richer and was better looking. It was utterly stupid of her to leave us just like that, especially when my father realized he has cancer. She left right away when she heard about it.
I ran downstairs of out three story home, my room being on the third floor. My father's room was on the second floor and I walked inside his room to say good-bye. I walked to his bedside and smiled at my aging father which had dull gray eyes and aging gray hair. He gave me a small, weak smile that made his wrinkles cringe around his mouth.
"Father," I whispered as I got onto my knees. It pained me to have to leave him with my irresponsible older brothers that only care about themselves. "I'm so sorry to have to leave you here with the boys. I wish I could take care of you myself."
"You've done enough work yourself," my father could barely say as his voice was hoarse. I shook my head at him.
"No, not enough till you're well, Father." I said. "I will win this competition and I'll bring home the money for you. You can watch me on the telly while at it. I'll make sure of it. I'll win this for you."
"You are such a good child. You are the brightest of them all and is always head strong. I have faith in you." My father said. He caressed my cheek and I gave him a smile in return, though it was small. I put a hand on his that was on my face.
"Father. . . I love you. Be strong while I'm gone." I said. I kissed his forehead and he kissed my cheek. I stood up and slowly walked out of his room. I felt really bad for him to be leaving when he's in the worst state.
I walked down the rest of the stairs as I made my way to the front door. Suddenly, a hand was on my shoulder and I quickly turned around to glare at my older brother, Andrew. Now what? Can't he tell that I'm leaving?
"What is it, Andrew?" I asked with an annoyed sigh. I really didn't want to deal with this now. I have a dead-line to meet.
"Where do you think you are going? You have to take care of Dad." Andrew said.
"Nope, you are taking care of him along with everyone else. I'm going somewhere to actually HELP Dad from cancer, you twat. Now, let go of me." I said and forcefully pushed him off of me and walked out of the house.
Outside, there was a limo waiting for me right at the very curb of my street. Sighing, I smiled to myself and got inside the limo. Finally, I'm away from my brothers at last. The limo started and began moving. I relaxed against the really comfortable cushions and started to doze off. That was, until the limo screeched to a stop.
My limo door was opened and I got out with my backpack in tow. In front of me was a zeppelin. I have to get on a zeppelin? What about an actual plane? I knew this was apart of some plan of Chris'.
