#1 Lotte Family Concert

ROSÉ'S PERSPECTIVE:

-Unnie, I'm nervous.- I said eating  popcorn to Jisoo unnie.

-Chae, don't worry, it's not your first time performing in front of huge crowd.

-I know but it's been a long time since we had done that and now we have new songs and I don't know people's reactions. That scares me the most.- I said even more worried, which led me to putting down my snack.

-But we performed songs on TV already.- said Jennie unnie.

-I know but most of people there were BLINKs and here fans are mixed. Most of them are ARMYs.-I started to shake.

- I'm scared.- Worried Lisa sat next to me and hugged me tightly.

-You have me, Jisoo unnie and Jennie unnie, you know we love you, nothing bad is going to happen.- she said.

Thanks to her words I felt reassured. I never felt like that before, it felt even worse than when I debuted.

After all it was a year since we released 'As If It's Your Last'. Song did great but it was completely different concept to 'Ddu Du Ddu Du'. I thought that maybe people expected us to come back with cute concept again, but we did the complete opposite. I was worried if we met people's expectations. I had only slept for an hour the night before because I was doubting myself.

-15 minutes left to performance.- said staff member.

-Rosie, everything will be OK.- Jennie unnie said in English and handed me small chocolate which I ate quickly without anyone noticing.

-I feel better now, unnie. I didn't even realize that we were matching outfits. You look cute. Red suits you.- on her face appeared gummy smile. She looked so pretty, if only I could look like her.

-My hubby always complements me.- she said and winked at me.

-I'm getting jealous.- I heard Lisa's voice behind my back.

-Well, that's new.- I sarcastically answered and after I could say anything I felt her arms wrap around my waist and heard.

- You know I love you, Chaemunk. I'm like your acorn. Even when I'm gone you still choose me.

We started performing, it seemed like everything was going smoothly, we sang 'Stay' and 'As If It's Your Last', next song to perform was 'Forever Young'. The crowd was cheering which made my doubts get lost far away. I had put my head on Jennie unnie's hip and felt Lisa's tiny head on mine. Music started playing. I was staring at the huge crowd when I noticed small girl copying our moves which made me even more hyped and happy. When Lisa's part ended, it came to Jennie unnie's part.

I was super pumped to sing my lines. I was completely immersed in performance that I didn't even notice a woman standing next to members dressed in black clothes on the stage next to us. I was scared for a moment not knowing who she was but then I realized that she was one of the concert's staff members.

She told us that not everyone was inside and it could be dangerous to continue the performance because fans are pushing each other outside to get to arena faster. I felt really angry for a moment, not just for stopping our performance in the middle of the song but for not checking if everyone was safe inside to make sure that type of situation wouldn't happen. It was so unprofessional.
It was the first time when I couldn't act like nothing happened. It wasn't something to laugh about or forget easally. Someone could get injured.

After we came backstage, our manager oppa went to talk to the organizers to hear their official statement and final version of things. We were waiting next to the door of the room where organizers were staying.
After some time, we noticed our pissed manager coming out of the room. He was sad and angry at the same time. It was visible.

-They told me, that you could perform after everyone again, but Jennie would not be able to do that, since she had Chanel event scheduled beforehand. Which means we can't do anything about it. I'm sorry girls, I should have checked everything several times. I'm so mad at myself.

-Oppa, it is not your fault, they messed up not you. I'm mad as well but we can't do anything about it. What happened happened.- said Jisoo unnie.

-Is everyone OK? No one is hurt, right Oppa?- I asked worried.

-Don't worry, Chaeyoung. No one is badly hurt, they only have a few bruises and scratches, nothing serious. Medical team is there. Everything will be OK.- I could see that manager oppa wasn't happy about this whole incident. He hates unprofessional people as much as I do or maybe even more. This whole situation just showed how unorganized the whole event was.

- OK, we have to pack our things, Jennie only has an hour left to get to the event and she has to get changed as well.- he added.

I really was so mad about that whole situation, but I was more worried about our fans and injured people, who had bought tickets to see us and other performers but sadly some of them, were not able to do so or even get to the venue. Without much thinking I decided to stay at the concert just to make sure everyone gets out of arena safely and asked my manager oppa.

-Oppa, please take members and let me stay here with manager unnie, I want to make sure everyone will be safe. Can you agree to that? You can believe me that no one will know that I'm still here besides people in this room.- I saw that he was thinking about what he should do for a while, but then I saw his head nod. Which meant he agreed.

-Just be safe.- I heard from unnies and Lisa.

-You heard them, right.- Oppa added.
They were overprotective of me after all.

Before they left I took my black hoody and sweatpants out of my luggage to get changed so nobody would be able to recognize me. I hugged everyone and started observing what was happening inside of arena.
